We are coming up on 2 years of renting at Pixon. This apartment is a secondary residence for our family, with my wife and daughter living here for the majority of the year. There are pros and cons to every apartment complex in the area, but we feel that Pixon checks off most of the boxes we look for when renting. The building is solid which limits the noise you typically get in apartment living. We feel very safe, secure, and find the apartment to be peaceful. The common spaces are spread out and give the residents plenty of options for working, school, or just hanging out. The staff is accommodating and approachable. The maintenance crew is fantastic here and quick to respond if needed. Apartment living can be challenging to say the least, but we have enjoyed our time here at Pixon.

First off, nice property. A bit disappointing that they don't have a pool but that's not the reasoning behind my rating. My rating is based purely on the fact that my application was denied and I was promised a refund in writing and it was never fulfilled. I was then advised that the company doesn't offer refunds for application fees and that it was a mistake that this was told to me by the assistant manager. She advised she would talk to the property manager to see if they would honor it since it was in writing and has since ghosted me. During a pandemic, with horrific levels of inflation it amazes me that capitalism prevails!! $375 in fees lost due to a misunderstanding about a previous landlord collection which was successfull disputed shortly after. Pixon also received these results from their 3rd party vendor and no one has even contacted me to at least offer moving the fees to a new application. Oh, and let's talk about the fact that the leasing agent tried to sell me an apartment, somewhere on the 4th floor, directly below the gym that's hard to rent due to poorly insulated walls. You could literally hear someone dropping weights as if they were coming through the ceiling. Overall, horrible management company, horrible practices, and its a shame that they get off on collecting huge move in fees without remorse for individuals who may have rocky paths due to the pandemic. At least Lake Nona is a beautiful area.

Amazing location due to its proximity to the town center and major roads. Due to the building being concrete, I never had an issue with hearing neighbors during my time there. Having a coffee shop connected to the lobby is also a huge plus!

Moved here about three month ago and I love it. My only issue is I cannot enjoy the first floor lounge. Security will walk up randomly and ask questions? This never happened befor. They constantly harass peaceful quiet people. Im not sure if a criminal was caught here before, they have been harassing people more now.
