The splash area is fun for little kids on a hot day and there is also a large playground nearby to keep them entertained. The skate park adjacent us great for bigger kids too.

There are two signs saying no pets, one at splash park and one at parking. It's a shame, Gainesville has dog friendly places.

No concessions and yes coolers are allowed but you may need to check with the county about the grill.
It's free and it's well maintained with a covered picnic area where parents can comfortably watch their kids
