WORST EMERGENCY ROOM IN THE WORLD!!!! I have never seen something this bad!!!!! My husband is now going on 16 hours of waiting in the waiting room because they say “no beds available” he is waiting on blood results, cat scan and EKG’s and for some results this has been the wait so far!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL!!!!! This will be the last time we use them!!!

I waited about more than 5 hours for the doctors to check up on me. Then when I got inside they had a bed for me in the hallways and asked me some questions only for me to wait for almost another hour for them to tell me when was wrong with me and then took about 30 minutes for them to come back to give me something I would need. Waste of time. I went at 10pm just to come back at 5-6am? They don’t even reply, they send a bot to reply!

Literally the worst emergency room I’ve ever been to. The wait was 8 hours long just to get seen, everyone was moving in slow motion. The doctor would come the leave for over an hour not to mention we were in the hallway. we still just left without getting the last test done. I recommend you go to the emergency room in chapel hill

I arrived by rescue squad with unbearable back pain radiating to my leg, I could not walk. I suspect I have a herniated disc. I had an MRI at this hospital earlier in the day so I came for advice on pain management. I sat in a hard uncomfortable chair freezing for over four hours. I asked for a pillow twice and never got one. I gave up and had a neighbor pick me up way after midnight. I never got to see anyone to ask about my meds. My advice if you have to go to this ER: take a warm sweater, a blanket, a pillow, and a bottle of water. Be prepared to be uncomfortable and to wait a very very long time. This ER could use some advice from Kernodle Clinic, which is the most organized and efficient medical facility I have ever encountered. As it turns out, I did have a herniated disc.

The medical mall is on the hospital grounds. Just follow the signs for medical mall and it will direct you to the right place for parking and entry.
