They ain’t interested in helping. The whole system is antiquated and the process is slower than molasses.

yes depending on if the waiting list is open and your situation .call and speak to a representative
If you apply for housing choice voucher you have to wait the appropriate amount of time it usually takes longer for people who are already in housing to get housing choice voucher transfer from section 8 but you cannot get it if you don't apply for it it's a separate program it's not included in your section 8 is another program altogether so if you want housing choice first apply for it and then wait if you're in the house already it may take up to 5 years to get it because you're not intermediate need you already have housing if you wasn't in immediate need it could take about 2 years if you're a senior during covert season and you update your application and let them know that you live outside you can get it immediately so it depends on the situation but no they don't just hand you a child's housing choice voucher you must apply for it
Yes you can report it to the office at 630 I Street
Go in there and ask for jackie she will help you
No you gotta wait until the wait list opens then you apply online
Go Section8 website or SHRA under find a place then HVC listings.
Yes, absolutely! Apply online at sacwaitlist there are 3 lists locations for the county and a few for the city, that are always open.
Call Hud You Can Get Help From Specialiest
I Believe It Is But Even If You Get Your Volcher Almost Everywhere That Excepts Sec 8 Has A 2 Year Waiting List
Im dure they do its called porting out from where your from to sacramento calif but i think you have to do a class for a voucher for here in sacramento call the housing authority in sacramento calif on I street
3 business Days or less depending on your waitlist status
Go Online, & Request For A Port Out Form. Also Notify your Housing Authority Case Manager, He or She will Provide you with the Necessary information. Your Best time to Call the S.H.R.A. office is Before Noon, & a Sectary will get your Necessary Information then Relay it to your Case Manager. But it might Take Awhile Before you get a Reply, because the Personal Are Really Understaffed. So if I were you, Go Online First to See if You can Possibly Get Everything Taken Care Of That Way. I Hope that this will Help you out.
I was there a week ago. They do not have any public walk ins. There is a security guard at the entrance which will deliver any messages to whoever you are looking for.
No
You need prior permission as stated in first response.
Not that I'm aware of. You would have to was told is that they only take care of housing for rental or homeless. But HUD is a separate and different agency. That's what they told me. I previously bought a HUD house. Great deal but be prepared to do refurb on it. It cost me about 20,000 in fixing things to choose. But i was able to roll that amount into my loan. And make sure to get the warranty on it. I needed a water heater the night we moved in. It exploded. My extent paid for it. And my electrical panel only worked on half the house. So it paid for that too. I hope that helps. Best of luck!!
I am not sure but possibly may be open.
The only thing i can suggest is that you buy you some protection. And at the same time try to get an transfer
rent is under 300.00 a month
Ask Google to call Sacramento Section 8 on 5th and I Street
I believe 30 days.
I don't see an exemtion from AB 1482 if the landlord takes tenans with HCVouchers (section 8). This still leaves the tennant rent at 30% of adjusted income. I don't see a problem for your sister. Did I miss something?
I'm so sorry i don't no you would have to call them and ask.
Have you asked that question of your site manager or housing case worker.
No after five year of being on probation this includes the time on probation so from the day you first got on probation let me break it down like this if I got released from jail and I got probation and I got called for section 8 3 years later and I have a 5-year probation I cannot get on housing or assistance if I got probation 5 years ago and I just got off I I can get it if I'm on probation for 3 years and section 8 calls me 2 years after I've gotten off of probation which is a total of 5 years I am still eligible for it so as long as you're within the 5-year period of probation it whether you're on it or off it they will not accept you on the program but if you got off the day before they called you or the day after and it's been five years since you got on probation then you will be accepted into the program so you don't have to wait 5 years after you get off probation just 5 years from the day you got probation and not be on probation when they call you I hope that's clear enough
It depend on which complex you're in. Have you called and reported it to your office? Please let them know often.
Redevelopment was ended by Governor Brown
Not sure what this would accomplish.
Download the tenant landlord hand book..The city owns the street you can park anywhere on the street..But to be neighborly I would move my car and park in another spot..People get territorial about parking in front of their house..its not worth the hassle sometimes you just have to be the bigger person
Call any H&R Block and ask to speak to a tax specialist. They will be happy to help you and it's free to ask a few questions. Sometimes you may need to call back if they are busy.
If u hv 2 adult females and a teenager? Do u qaulify for a 3bd
This is not correct. The Housing Authority, like all housing authorities Across the Nation uses a mandated system call the enterprise income verification system (EIV). This system tracks income from wages, unemployment, Social Security, SSI, and it also does an identity verification for citizenship status. The tracking is done by the social security number of the individuals. Yes, this system even identifies when an individual provides a false social security number. Birth certificates are obtained for all minors to verify relationship and dependent status. In addition, most housing have direct access into their local welfare Department's system to verify if an individual is receiving welfare, food stamps or Medicai. For individuals who report self-employment the Housing Authority obtains their tax returns and can request a copy of the original tax return directly from the Internal Revenue Service, if they suspect a tenant is being dishonest.
No, all applications are completed online at www.sacwaitlist.com
Its a case by case situation, and dependent upon PHA, county or city.
Could be months...best to go in take a number and wait for worker of the day. Plan to be thete awhile. The worker can tell you where you are in the process and what documents you will need. Your appt. letter will go to your physical address so they can verify your county residence. Right now Voucher list closed. Last opened January 2018 for 10 days. They got 43,000. Apps. could only give 7,000. Vouchers. Sorry but dark days ahead for so many folks.
You must visit the site of the waitlisted property to get the code
You would need to call them to find out.
With a voucher, you pay 30% of your income for rent. SHRA pays the balance of the rent to the landlord. HUD sets the rules as to how many bedrooms you can get with the voucher. It is based on the quality of the family, along with the age and sex of the children.
If they are not open yet, I would wait in line.
Not sure if you can. Never faxed to them before. I always took paperwork down there and gave it to someone.
In the practice of good faith and business practice(s), I highly recommend doing so, as laws continually change.
I believe some of them don't understand that a large part of their job is customer service
Welfare office also helps with homeless assistance money.
