Goodness there were so many issues I alongside my partner ran into while living here but I’ll only brief you on the latest and hopefully last issue!! We have not lived in this apartment for over a month now, after paying for the month of May and not living there for not giving a proper 30 day notice (there is never anyone in office to even be made aware of to give a proper 30 day notice so good luck with that). But we just received a bill in the mail charging us for over $1,500 worth of repairs!! For what exactly? I have no idea for we left the apartment completely spotless. Also I’d like to add in that the apartment was legally still ours for this month but when we went to turn our keys in a bit early on the 22nd of May…we couldn’t get into our own apartment!! And when we went into the office they told us they had been renovating it to occupy new tenants since the 16th of May. We were told we would be getting our deposit back as well as $800 for the half month they renovated “our” apartment while we weren’t occupying it. Then this nice piece of paper comes along charging us over $1,500 of repairs. Shady to say the least. Don’t move here!! Save yourselves please, absolutely embarrassing the way they conduct business. I’d give it a 0 if I could. YIKES

The management in this apartment is very unprofessional and hostile. As to the apartment itself you will find yourself living with mold and thin walls, do not move into this complex there are better ones in the area!

This was the worst renting experience I have ever had. Paid 1,550 for an apartment with no central AC and the walls would mold because there was no venation in the apartment. Multiple maintenance requests were left unfilled and every time you try to reach the front office there's no answer and they are never inside. I cannot express enough how much I would advise you to not move here, there are better options in the area. Please do not fall for the image they are displaying to the try to lure residents in. Attached is a picture of the mold we found when moved our dresser away from the wall.

This is not a bad starter apartment if you’re looking to live out on your own for the first time in the Sacramento area. It’s across the street from Loheman’s Plaza and walking distance towards Bus Route 26. On top of that, it’s close by the American River and a 10-15 minute bike ride to Sacramento State University. However, your neighbors residing here can make or break your stay as a resident. The walls are paper thin, and it’s easy to hear other resident’s conversations and footsteps if your living on the bottom floor. Also, the parking there is based upon a first-come, first-served basis. On top of that, there’s no central AC/heater. What you get is a hole-in-the-wall type of AC in the living room. Asides from that, I’ve noticed a lot of high property management and leasing consultant turnover rate during my time as a resident, so it was challenging to build relationships with the staff. Plus, raising the rent during the COVID-19 pandemic while some other residents lost their jobs put a bitter taste in my mouth. Other than that, live here with caution especially if you’re ok with an un-gated community on an extremely busy street.

They are still doing the same thing. I called and left 2 voicemails on separate days 2 weeks ago. I also sent an email 3 weeks ago. That's plenty of time to respond. I wanted to give them a chance because I saw how nice it looked and saw bad reviews though. Preppy woman sounded a bit sarcastic when she said she had no records of my emails or my voicemails. Fix your system them. I called directly from the website and emailed from there. The answer machine said retro apartments. I think I know who I called. I even showed up twice. The office was randomly closed early one weekday with no explanation and the other day I went, there was a time clock picture showing when they would be back in the office. It was 30 minutes passed the time they said when I showed up. HORRIBLE communication. If you can't communicate with a prospective tenant, you won't have one. Also, woman told me that prices may change because the community is for sale right now. So this is the 3rd management change???
only if u want to pay 1200 for current residents pay 725 and get ignored.... no central heat or air...try paying $1200 for 1 bdrm and sitting in 95+ heat at night!!!!! stay away!!!!! emplore you...
