Had a great time on the night ride and bbq. The food was really good and I like that they gave you a choice of main course when you bought tickets online. Musicians and sing along kept everyone involved. Train ride was great but I wish it was longer. All in all we enjoyed every minute of it especially because we had a huge full moon!! Definitely will go again.

The trip was a bit boring at the end but the narrator on the train was really great. The train was really beautiful and the staff were really nice. The restrooms were clean.

Had a great time with the family. Kids and adults liked the train ride. Kids LOVED the gold panning and the gentleman helping them did an amazing job. He really seemed to enjoy every minute of it and much as the kids did.

We had the best time at Sugar Pine Railroad! The ease with ordering our tickets online, the beautiful drive up, the wonderful customer service, the actual train ride, and the awesome restaurant staff!! My kids loved riding the train :) We also got to pan for gold (add on charge).

It's about an hour, and includes a stop at the camp fire area where you can walk around. It's a fun little excursion.
I suggest you contact them directly. We came on a rainy day. The only train running was not a train at all. It was a car on train wheels. There was a big party for 200 people next day. The museum was not open. Beautiful mountain surroundings. Pink dogwood blooming.
Thomas is right I have two children both under 13 and 2 adults and we had a blast you've got to try this place it's just a perfect day trip for a family to explore and enjoy and this time of year is the very best time to go I think all though we have gone at different seasons this is my family's favorite time. So depending on how far away you live it's also fun to take a little picnic just stop by the roadside somewhere we're lucky we only live about an hour away. We've been probably eight times now and have never been disappointed the staff are very friendly and helpful with any and all questions! Take the plunge and go have some fun!!

There's a couple places to eat, we enjoyed both of them as we were there all day, but we're surprised by how great the burgers were and their fries were on par with McDonald's so that was learned from lunch then we enjoyed the barbecue at night of course it's a little expensive but isn't everything anymore!!!!

It's about 45 minutes to an hour, although I've never been on it there is one way you stop somewhere for a show of some sort, so of course that one would be longer s to call and ask them about the different rides because there are manysome for romantic evenings with a partner, some for day trips with children so you should really call them they're quite friendly and answer all of your questions with a smile
