I came for an overnight stay at the campground in mid January. It was peaceful and I had the place to myself at night. Be aware that at certain times of day (especially right before sundown on a weekend) the road to the campground may be overrun by OHVs since this is an OHV area.

Perfect place to stay and chill. Camping for free, clean toilet with paper. In mid-October we met one couple there, no one else, so there was no problem finding a place for a tent and a car. I like it!

You can stay for free in this area if you can find a spot; it's very busy in summer, apparently a good place for mountain biking and stuff like that. The ladies who were cleaning the bathrooms told us that basically you can stay anywhere you can find as long as it's not on the road. We stayed right on the side of the little bridge. There is a creak and a little waterfall. Beautiful and very relaxing.

Really nice and the road there was easy for my sedan. A great place if you are headed into Yosemite the next day.

Normally no need for 4x4 its a dirt road. At the bridge is a single site that sits next to the small Creek maybe space for two cars. After the bridege a large group area with no sign is also available beyond that site is officialy the lone sequoia camp ground. Its well mark with a large sign and Bathroom no running water. Only a small creek to the right lots of wood to burn. Turn the high beams on at night lots of turns but it's easy to navigate
