Still a bit of hard snow as of 2/21/22. It was a nice place to sled and explore. We did not use our snow chains. The road was dry. There are protapotties. Snow was very hard and slippery. Good for sledding.

A fun spot for sledding with the littles! Our kids are 6 yo and 3 yo and this was perfect for them. There was enough snow to catch a little speed on the sled and enjoy the day. Big parking lot with 3 portable toilets. We didn't need 4x4 or chains but it was clear that right after a fresh snow we would. Didn't check out the trail but we will be back for another visit.

Good spot for children to have fun in the snow ❄️❄️❄️ just be sure take plenty food and snacks. Oh don't forget the essentials for the bathroom. They have Potter potties but not enough bathroom essentials.

Right now there's so much snow the road to get to Goat Meadow is closed.
No we went there this Thursday its free and its beautiful covered in snow. Port a potty for restroom take your own toilet paper though

Never made it up that high. Where we were was wet and muddy
No restrooms
There are no open or closing hours. The plase is accesible all day. There is no camping restriction. There is only restriction for campfires and stoves. You have to have a Californian permit to make a fire or use your stove. There are many quite flat places to build a tent very near to the paking lot.
