Paved trail from parking area to overlook blind where you can use the free binoculars to view the birds. Saw several different types and I'm sure it varies with the seasons.

Such a great stop for the dogs to walk with us and enjoy the lake full of ducks.

In 2006 the east section of Reardan Pond became Audubon Lake Wildlife Area. The marshy lake, at about 2500 feet on the Upper Columbia Plateau, attracts unusual amounts of migratory birds. There is a viewing blind on both the south and north sides of the lake. The south access has a large parking area (even for tour busses), a privy, and a paved path to the viewing blind. On my last visit I saw the lake covered with waterfowl. Such a sight! The best view of the lake itself is from Hwy 231 that divides it.

Are there any fish in this lake?

Highly alkaline so no fishing. It's a bird sanctuary but they're after the bugs, not fish.
