Fun, easy hike with a lot of great views and an abundance of wildlife. Fortunate enough to stumble upon a bull moose. Just ignore the random construction sounds that echo throughout the gulch.

Beautiful preserve. Sometimes you can spot Moose. And there's a great beaver pond and lodge very close to the viewing area. If the Gondola is running, you can get a great overhead view.

We had passed over the area in the gondola, but we got such a better appreciation of the area hiking on the trail. No wildlife seen today, but many sightings by the naturalists who regularly walk the trail. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite hikes in #Breckenridge. This is a mostly easy hike offers a variety of wildflowers and picturesque surroundings. There are several trails through the area. If you are lucky you can spot some wildlife. We saw deer and have seen moose in the past. If you would like to hike down the trail instead of up, you can get close to the trailhead using the gondola.
