I stopped here as a quick detour of a road trip on 111 to Salton Sea. I just stopped to take some pictures and see the scenery. I believe it's actually a hunting/gaming area, but it also had some cool views. Not a necessary stop by any stretch of the imagination, but definitely a cool, quiet place to see more of the landscape.

We have no new and proper equipment to maintain the lake. At wister we're doing the best we can with our 80 year old equipment. The lake is a hot topic but for now our main focus is getting ready for the upcoming waterfowl season. Your concern will be brought up and hopefully you can expect changes in the near future.
