OMG. Came to the ER with extremely high blood pressure and shortness of breath and they told me they "we don't think about blood pressure in the ER like primary docs do." Acted like nothing was wrong with me, and the nurses were really rude and snotty. At one point my auto blood pressure monitor registered a BP so high it set off an alarm and it took over 20 minutes for someone to come check on me. And, to top it off, they never even gave me anything to bring my BP down! Just sent me on my way when my labs came back fine. Will never come here again. I expected way better from a Non-HCA hospital and it was worse than the closer HCA hospital I was trying to avoid! Really wish I had driven farther and gone to a different hospital! Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other 50 hospitals we have in the area!

Unfortunately, I’ve had to come back to edit this review. On August 15th I had to go in to get stitches for a laceration on my ankle from a piece of metal. An X-ray was taken afterwards and it took an hour to release me. The day I had the stitches taken out I was constantly being told I should have waited so long to have them taken out and the nurse didn’t want to hear that I left them in longer due to falling off my crutch twice. I asked her to get a dr’s opinion on if the Achilies tendon is cut or not, and she denied that and said I’ll be fine. The very next day at work my calf swelled up, and I went back to the set. It took 3 hrs to get me in, only to find out the laceration is infected due to a piece of metal left inside my ankle. How was that missed in the X-ray the first time? Now I’m on antibiotics, and it’s now been over a month and it’s still not healed. All it would have taken was a few more minutes to clean it out the first time, and to due something about the piece of metal that was left in there, that should have been impossible to miss with the first X-ray.

I was there for x-rays & bloodwork ordered by my primary care physician. Everyone was warm, friendly yet professional. Very accommodating & compassionate.

Slowest er in the metro for no reason. 3 hrs for a infant respiratory emergency is unacceptable

Here's what Saint Luke's East says... Our nursing units welcome visitors at all hours, except for our intensive care units, neonatal intensive care units, and maternity units, which may have more specific visiting hours or visitor restrictions.
Personally, no. They rush me in and out and I'm confused than when I started
I've had great experiences and not so great experiences at SLE but i also think experiences are relative. Mine were based on my needs for treatment and i thought they could have been faster but they were treating an ER full and not everyone can be first. It's my hospital of choice since the other two in LS are mediocre in comparison to treatments I've received at all 3.
I went to their ER on a Saturday night to find out I had to my gallbladder removed ASAP. I was admitted and they performed my surgery the next morning. They doubled the size of their surgery center so that should help. I believe they went from 8 to 16 surgery rooms with the new rooms opening up on February 1, 2018.
Under staffed?
yes truman lakewood for sure if you have no insurance. saint lukes has a nice labor and delivery floor.
I would call information desk, yhey should be able to help you.
I dont think's they have a office inside the hopitals where they all keeps there records ! Hope the help you!
I have had physical therapy at SLE. In my opinion I feel they are thorough and do a great job. Had low back surgery and knee replacement. Excellent care. YOU have too do the work exactly as instructed or you will not have complete use. It takes effort and personal drive.
No
Try going onto the St Luke's patient portal. Sometimes lab and x-ray results are posted there before results get to the physician. Online: myStLukes-Login Page. Ask for help from virtual assistant or choose New User.
I did not go to Maternity ward, but visited nephew in the ICU. So visitation is allowed and mast mandatory.
I apologize I have not needed an ENT since joining Saint Luke's in 2017. I am unsure if they have such Dr.
Yes! There is a medication drop off box just inside the Emergency Department entrance.
CVS is 24 hrs
At Rockhill Woman's Clinic you can see the same Physician each time. My wife and I liked this doctor's office
There are portals for established patients to utilize. Contact your physician's office to help you set up your St. Luke's portal.
The cafeteria is great. You can even order, pay and have it delivered to your loved ones room, so you can eat with your loved one. As previously stated many restaurants less than 5 minutes away.
Yes it can as long as it conforms with the Hippa agreement.
Probably need to call them, but don't recall seeing any optical procedure offices there.
They take a great many of the insurances if there's any that they don't once again let me repeat with the first person there said call billing and ask them they'll be glad to help you
