Great place to access the Rock Island Trail. Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. And, about that trail: It's a very nice trail! About 13 miles of mostly chat (fine, hard- packed gravel) with a few very smooth concrete inserts in some of the spots that might otherwise get muddy, leading from Hartman Park in Lee's Summit to the Arrowhead & Kauffman Stadiums (so ball parks at both ends, kind of).

The waterfalls are small, maybe 2 feet tall, they are naturally made though. Hartman only has the built up areas around the parking lot but everything else is just nature trails
Hi, I have been biking in Rock Island Trail From Jefferson St to Kauffman Stadium. Phase 1 and 2 of the Trail are done which is more or less 18miles.
