Beautiful park. We drove here and bought a day parking pass. We chose the waterfall trail. The trail was beautiful. We took bikes right until 0.7 miles to the end of the trail and then walked up to the waterfall. We caught a couple of Banana snails too! Added a picture of the beautiful creature. Not as much water as I had expected. The waterfall was small. Added pictures for everyone to see. It took us a couple of hours to complete the trail. All in all a beautiful trail.

My husband and I were in the area for a couple of days and decided to hike the ~2.5 mile loop to the waterfall. It was chilly, so make sure to dress warmly. We had an amazing time. It has just recently rained, so the waterfall was amazing!

Worth a stop! Drive down and hike the trail to the view of the rainbow bridge and the devils pit i think it was called. Easy flat trail less than a mile with amazing views

Beautiful, CLEAN, and safe. ALSO has clean restrooms, near beach parking and camping. Great place for a picnic, or family day. Dogs welcome ($6.00 charge for entry/per car) worth it!

It is usually open 7 days a week. But as with most things nowadays, it is best to call and check on the day in question. All schedules on life are subject to change with or without notice. 😁😁😁
2 miles
No, but dogs are allowed on the Headlands Trail!
Main bathroom down by beach has a power outlet
Only free camping is in Jackson State Forest. Hard to get a spot.
not on the trails into the woods. dogs are permitted on the beach and on the trails west of US1
They do. It's a State Park $8 for the day
I believe so... we live close by so haven't camped there but been many times to hike and see the beautiful waterfall there is also a lovely little beach as well.
At no time is hunting permitted in the park. No catch, no kill, no trap at any time. Access to fishing from the beach and bluffs only, and then only with license, or dueing season. Abalone hunts are seasonal and restricted due to low populations.
Yes, but there is a shallow stream between the parking lot and the shore.
No, the creek wasn't suitable for that. You can go down and float around where it meets the sea. That area might be nice in an inner tube but it's very calm.
Is it like for family or per person?
The trail to the waterfall is paved for a good distance. Bikes are allowed as far as the trail is paved. There is a bike rack where the pavement ends. No bikes beyond that point.
You can go on the California State park website. Im sure its open year round, its best to reserve a site
