Mendocino Grove was a great camp site. Family tent was clean and spacious. The camp ground is pretty big and I would encourage you to walk around. The hiking trails around the camp are nice and one has a perfect sunset view. My kids had a great time playing in the meadow and looking for banana slugs. I happen to run into a fox and raccoon while taking astrophotography shots. I would come back again and probably bring less food as there are grocery stores nearby and restaurants to enjoy.

Beautifully located & incredibly comfortable, staying here was heavenly! They considered everything from the heated blankets to s'more kits & skewers to even constantly fresh flowers in the bathrooms. Staff was easily reachable and always helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

I can't stop talking to my friends about this diamond in the rough....great welcoming staff into the grove immediately.. The location is prime. The tents are well made. The restroom and shower areas are clean and the shampoos and liquid soap are spa quality. The common area has hammocks and a huge green area to frolic in. The commentary breakfast of yogurt plus toppings was a nice touch. There is a surrounding easy hiking trail to explore. Hurry and add this to your bucket list.

We had an amazing stay at Mendocino Grove and absolutely recommend staying here! We will definitely be back. We stayed in a family tent, which was well equipped with bed warmers and even a lamp that we discovered was a cordless phone charger. The showers/bathrooms were spotless, not far from our site, and filled with great bath products and soaps. There was live music and a campfire in the camp commons both nights we were there, and the complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious. They also left out tea and coffee all day, which we absolutely appreciated. On our last morning we spontaneously went on a nature walk provided by the staff. We so enjoyed walking around the grounds with Tim with our morning coffees and we learned lots of historical tidbits about Mendocino as well as about the flora and fauna of the region.

Sold out until tomorrow, sorry. More openings midweek
I don't believe there are empty sites, that you bring your own tent.
It is $150 or so, plus room tax, if I remember. It is a 4 star room in a tent, among tall fir and pine trees, over looking the ocean. Well worth the price. So far from civilization and all the electrical fields that I personally am sensitive to, I slept like I haven't done since I was a kid. Everyone I spoke to said the same thing and the beds are so plush, maybe it was just that...
