I’m a little reluctant to provide a review here because I don’t want anymore this place all of the beauty that is around in every direction while watching the sunset it’s beautiful I would highly recommend you to visit this area and watch a sunset if you have the opportunity. The trail system is easy to navigate. I would encourage you to not get too close to the water there are a lot of waves here quite in Undertale and there is a significant amount of rock that is just beyond the sea and stay above the sand and away from the water.

Harbor seal puppies are there now! It's a must see!

absolutely gorgeous part of the coast! Lots of wildflowers of varying types this time of year. Trail is dog friendly as long as they are on a leash. Lots of interesting rock formations in the water and sea arches. Definitely one of my favorite areas of the northern California coast!

Great bluff walk on a less windy side of town. Accessible for the entire family but not wheelchair accessible. Probably 1.5 miles of trails, some crisscrossing the grassland of the bluff. Beach access as well. Can be cold and windy so bring a windbreaker and jacket just in case. There are some benches near the south east side of the trails near town and 1-2 benches along the way.

How long is the trail? 2 miles?

From point to point, it's 2.5 miles. However, since you are literally right next to the historic Mendocino town, there are many turnoffs to go straight into town if that peaks your interest. However, the cliff side view is what people come to Mendocino for, so take your time, this hike will appear a lot shorter than it really is.
