Visited in mid May. Hawaii native here and as I was walking up to the beach here I thought for a second I was at Kailua Beach in Hawaii, beautiful! Water is always cold in Tahoe but still saw some kids swimming and many people in Kayaks and on SUPs. Some road noise but only a minor annoyance. Campsites are close together but everyone was quiet and respectful. Clean flush toilets and water fill stations scattered throughout. Quiet hours 10P-6A with some occasional generator use outside those hours. Mix of small RVs and tents.

Really beautiful beach! Sand is nice and soft. Still rocky getting into the water so bring some water shoes. You can rent kayaks there! Lots of fun.

No dog are not allowed on the resort picnic area or the lake sand or on the campsite. But Meeks Bay has an campground right next to the resort and dog are allowed on the area only no dog are allowed on the lake

Dogs are allowed at the campground and around the beach,just not in the sand.
Small to mid size on the camp side. small to lage on the rv side. There are 2 sides to the beach for camping as well as cabin rentals. to bad the marina is shut down
