Price of water taxi has gone up but not their fault due to gas prices and last years fire. Our pilot was very friendly and knowledgeable answering all our questions. She was great.

Beautiful place. Highly recommend visiting it for either a small picnic of 2 to 4 hours or for long hike and see the lakes.. upper and lower echo lakes etc. We did a long 7 mile hike and visited 4 lakes.

Sage Po

Beautiful spot and not very crowded! Hiking and boating readily available. Gorgeous views. The store has lots of supplies and delicious if overpriced milkshakes.

Kubla Khan

This is the launching point for hiking the echo lake trail as part of the Tahoe rim trail. They have snacks and souvenirs, but the parking is absolutely terrible.
