This is a wonderful animal shelter, the people really care about the animals. I just wish someone would donate millions of dollars so they could have better facilities.

Adopted a pet cat from here and been absolutely amazed with the service the cat was spayed and was up on all the shots.
Who do I call about wild foxes hunting my cats we have a mother fox and 3 babies in our small dead end street I have 3 cats and allready paid for 1 that got attacked by something 6months ago dont want to hurt them just have them relocated

First-it's a shelter. They don't sell animals, they adopt out. 2nd raccoons are considered wildlife, therefore they would not be allowed to be kept as pets.

If you need to drop off a cat they charge you. It used to be $10 per adult cat but it might have changed.
They don't hold animals so it's a waste to call. Look on their website to find a dog or cat you want. Then, be there standing at the door when they open. Then, tell them which animal you want to see!
You'd need to go on their website and look at adoptable pets. When I wanted a specific dog, I was there waiting at the door before they opened so nobody could go in ahead of me.
Best to contact the shelter. The older dogs, 1 year and older, make excellent pets also and are at a lower risk of developing parvo since most have had their puppy shots.

Their website specifically states, "This facility is NOT a no-kill facility. While we offer every opportunity to find homes for all the animals, there aren't enough homes for all that come in.".
If you take them to a shelter take then to the one in Myrtle Beach. The one here in Conway is a high kill shelter. You have to tell them you found them in Myrtle Beach though
I have two 8 year old rescue dogs. One is a small blonde hair canine terrier named Sandy. Brady is a long hair chawawa (sp)

who do we call if there is a dog running loose in our subdivision...the owners have been let know there is a leash law in Horry County but have not done anything about it...the dog is huge and very threatening.

You can call the non emergancy number for horry county police and let them know you need to have a dog catcher respond and whats going on and they will dispatch the dog catcher for your area out to you
