Clean and not crowded. It seems like things are getting to where they were before. Still have some shops/restaurants closed but most are open.

Clean. TSA pre check is easy. Quick and efficient. Not a lot of food options in the morning. Einstein bagels and smash burger are right past security

We had an easy check in the young man outside took care of us and the security took longer lots of families and carry on bags for them, we as seniors were very well respected!!😊😊
It's expected to be because of the growth in Boise has doubled I would you to check with the airport or the airline you're flying to provide you the correct information.
The Alaska Airlines (AS) and Horizon Airlines baggage policy for regular basic fares include the following:
Carry-on baggage.
1 personal item - Fee free
1 carry-on item - Fee free
1 artículo de mano - Sin cargo
WHEN IN AIRPORT YOU WILL RECEIVE
LABELS FOR YOUR BOXES AT CHECK
IN. THEY'RE DOLLYS TO CART YOUR
LUGGAGE THOUGH THEIR IS NO PATICULAR SPOT THAT THEY REST,
YOU HAVE TO SCOPE AROUND, YOU
CAN USUALLY FIND ONE NEAR THE
ENTRANCE OR BAGGAGE CLAIM AREA.
Do I still need to bring a negative Covid test result for international flights even though I am fully vaccinated, or need to show my vaccination card? I am aware of the mask mandate, but unsure of the other requirements for international travel

Hi Laurie, yes you still need to has the card to present to them but you no not need a negative test. But to re enter to the USA you will need proof of a negative test
All adults need government issued photo id. Kids will not need anything for TSA. If you bought discounted tickets or they are under 2 check with the airline. Some require proof of age.
My experience was that children were walked past the check point by TSA and or the police to the ramp area. Then the Airline takes care, custody and control. These rules seem to be arbitrary at best. Call ahead and plan.
It also will depend on Covid-19 restrictions and where your going in PI. My understanding is that there Philippines aren't allowing travel between them islands. So if your flying into Manilla you could get stuck trying to go Cebu or something along those lines.
There is both long-term and short-term parking if you want to get out of your car and walk around. Short term parking costs $1.00 for every 30 min. Long term parking is $13.00 per day.
Do i have to have a new drivers license to fly yet?

You must have a valid ID. So not expired. If you mean the new Idaho Star card, that takes effect October 1, 2020.

What is the left lane that says something about a cell phone waiting area for?
Scottie Burke | Sep 21, 2019
Jessie Gibson | Sep 21, 2019
that's where you can park and wait to pick up an arriving passenger, without having to park in the garage. you can't hang around the actual pickup area for more than a few minutes or security will ask you to leave. You can wait in the cell phone lane until your arriving passenger calls/texts you to let you know they are ready.
Linda Eger,
No, this is not a test.
Someone in my family is traveling to Mexico, but their suitcase bypasses the weight limit. I hava also seen people traveling with more than one suitcase, but I don’t know if they’re paying for that extra suitcase or if it’s actually allowed. That’s what I was wondering.
My son is returning from deployment is there a way to get a gate pass so I can meet his as he gets off the plane?
Scott Stirling | Sep 21, 2019
Mike Bowers | Sep 21, 2019
I would call the airport as each has it's own rules about that. Generally, they don't allow you to get out to the gate without a ticket anymore. Glad he's coming home!
Take court documentation that indicates you have temporary custody. You may need documentation from the courts stating you can travel out of state with your grand daughter
You have to leave the terminals after the last flight lands, until security opens in the morning. You can wait in the other parts of the airport overnight though.
I am travelling by Delta Airlines from Boise to Seattle and then by Virgin Atlanta Airlines, Seattle to Mumbai , India . Do we have to come out of security area and then enter again along with Immigration Check while departing ?
Sita Prasad | Sep 21, 2018
Kory Harper | Sep 21, 2018
You shouldn't have to, as long as you stay in the main terminal concourse. Your flight from Seattle will be in a different terminal. But you won't go through security.
I want to take an orquid with me, is this permitted, or not? can I travel with a plant?

Depends on where you are going, but leaving Boise should not be an issue.

Can a minor of 12 yrs old travel with a notarized paper from one state to another where the mother is located at?
Nancy Melchor | Sep 21, 2018
Vincent Cunningham | Sep 21, 2018
You can speak with an airline reservation member and ask if they will appoint a staff member to escort a minor from TSA passport control to the departure gate and onto the aircraft where a flight attendant will assume responsibility for the minor throughout the flight. If the minor has to make multiple stops/aircraft changes the airline may not want to take responsibility of the minor.
Hi I work for Alaska/horizon airlines. We are able to transport live animals on our flights however it would be best to call a reservation agent ahead of time and figure out the best way for us to accommodate you!
What do i need to get a minor child a plain ticket with an addult?
Kimberly Cole | Sep 21, 2018
Chris Deering | Sep 21, 2019
Talk to the individual carriers. Most have a program to allow minors of a certain age to fly. We sent our son on Delta from Germany to New Mexico and it cost about $250 extra per trip ($500 total), but they chaperoned him and the other kids, provide free snacks on the planes and a meal at the airports, took him to his next gate, even provided entertainment for him during layovers. Worth the money.
Per TSA regulations, liquid medication in reasonable quantity will be allowed.
We carried through TSA a 8 oz bottle of medication for a 2 week trip. We made sure it was in a ziplock and placed it along with other liquids in it's own tray/tub. They did take a swap and checked it before returning it to us.
expired id should be fine for flying... just say a new id didnt arrive in time for ur flight. its not nazi germany here people! jesus. do y'all have some kind of shady record ur worried about or something weird like that?. relax.
I believe you will since the photo license is likely to be considered invalid due to its expiring. I would recommend using your passport or other forms of approved ID cards.
How do get to Boise air port from Lakeview Oregon?
Debbie Hernandez | Sep 21, 2018
Amber Dykema | Sep 21, 2018
If Lakeview has a small airport probably need to fly to Portland first. If that is an option though when you search for flight from Lakeview to boise it will come up. Or if Portland is close to Lakeview just drive to portland.
I have worked for the airlines for 10 years. You are supposed to have a government issued ID, yes, but unfortunately people lose their wallets, have them stolen etc. In every airport I've worked in they would make exceptions for this. The TSA will just be extra thorough. They like it if you have something else with your name on it.
That's up to your provider. It depends on who you bought the ticket from. Expedia for example makes you pay a fee in exchange for having a refundable ticket in case you cancel your ticket.
