Stayed here for two nights while visiting Norfolk. It's only about 15-20 minutes from the Zoo and the Chrysler which we came to see. The rooms where clean and modern. The breakfast was good both days. The location is really nice because it's at the end of an isolated road so you're not in the middle of a city with all the noise and issues that brings. It feels nice and safe to come back to at the end of a day. Really enjoyed my stay.

Hello. I was in room 302 for 2 night, July 1, 2022 - July 3, It was 2 adults and 3 kids, 8 5 &2. I had a great room until we got to the beds. The bed by the window almost caused a very bad accident. I’m glad my grandkids wasn’t sitting on the bed when my daughter sat on it to look out the window. The bed went down on one side while the other was in the air. We looked and saw there was 2 mattresses sitting on some kind of railing on an open wood frame fixture. The railing was sticking out from under the bed. We had to put the 2 chair ottomans in front of the 2 rails that was sticking out so no one would hit their ankle/bottom leg on the sharp rails. For safety, We decided to let the kids sleep on the sofa bed. Pull out the sofa bed there’s no sheets there so we search the closets no bedding there either. We had to take pillows and covers off each bed to be able to cover up the mattress and the kids. The a/c unit was broke. The whole front cover came off and was sitting on the floor but it was still working. We had to get more towels from the front desk but they gave us more with no problems. The breakfast was delicious. We had to wait for some more of it to be cooked but it was great. I know comfort inn probably don’t have much room for more luggage carts but it would be nice to have more especially on holidays when a lot of people will be there. The hallways and elevators was hot. It would be nice if some kind of cooling systems was in them. It was our family reunion that weekend. My family has already booked it again for next year’s family reunion. I will be seeing what others had to say to see if I should need to book another hotel. Comfort Inn is a nice place to be. They need some people who can check to see if work is getting done right. Thanks for everything. Cleaning staff was very nice and respectful.

My family and I stayed in this hotel and I had a mix feeling about it. First, the staff were friendly and professional at least the ones I encountered with. The breakfast was decent, no complaints at all. However, the hotel needs major updating and requires remodeling. Our bathroom was dirty and never cleaned properly, it was dusty and looked outdated, the bathroom vent was not working, the refrigerator was dirty both inside and outside, the microwave and the coffee maker both were dusty. The sofa had debris of popcorn on it. If was the manager of this hotel, I would have fired the entire cleaning crew. The lobby floors, breakfast area, inside elevators and stairs were all dirty. Would I recommend it? Not now.

Worse hotel stay I’ve ever experienced, would not recommend, first of all the customer service was no help. My room wasn’t cleaned properly which is a huge concern for me when viruses are running crazy right now , tables were sticky and beds were sunken all the way down in the middle like a pool or something the windows did not have screens in them and I was on the 5th floor I had anxiety the whole stay because I have young children what if they were to open them and fall to their death? I was told by the front desk it was absolutely nothing they could do about it . Being a pregnant woman I did not anticipate this type of stress during my stay but I cried all night , never again!
