Nurses are amazing

Bad policies from Trinity leading to good, passionate staff parting ways, but certainly not surprising as seen by other reviews. Hopefully there's a better grip of reality and logic behind the scenes to bring in genuine care-givers. Sad to see.

Mercy has great staff, a nice facility, and fast service!

When I arrived into emergency room of the Mercy Hospital to get help with one problem. They didn’t help me with that problem. Instead they took samples for COVID, and I got positive Covid test. All had for last 3 days little fever and nothing more. They prescribed me Poxlovid and said that I need to use it. On next day I took first dose and I felt like I got too much energy and some strange feelings. I thought though that it is ok for morning time with this medication. On evening time I took second dose and I regret it. I wasn’t able sleep. When I closed my eyes I saw many lights blinking at front of me, my brain was also too active. It was nightmare for me. I didn’t sleep that night at all. During next day I felt like my condition was getting worse and worse. I came back into the same emergency room for help. I explained them that this medication did something bad to my health. But they didn’t want to do anything. They said it caused by COVID. I said that I had Covid for 3 days before I come to you and had only little fever and nothing more, but they didn’t want to listen to me. I did some research myself and find out that the Poxlovid, wich they gave me, is not certified medication and approved only for emergency use to treat Covid in people with another health problems and when another options don’t work. In my case I didn’t have any problems wich make doctor to make decision to give this medication. But that doctor did not care as I see. In addition he didn’t let me know that this medication is new and doesn’t have certification, that all side effects unknown, and that it is better not to use it if there aren’t any emergency regarding Covid. Good doctor and professional after my second visit would have taken care about me, understanding that the new and unknown medication can do some damage. They did nothing. I lost more then month trying to recover and figure out what is going on. I got sleep disorders, problem with breathing some heaviness on my chest. I thought I got problems with my heart. Still trying to figure out. In another hospital they did additional chest x-ray, electrocardiography, blood work. All that did not find any problems. Waiting for echocardiogram results. My primary care provider thinks that this medication did some damage to my nerves system. I’m truck driver and didn’t work more then month because all of these.

I tend to not believe what most users are posting on here. Only because there is a lot of behind the scene reasons that most people don't know or don't understand
They go by urgency of needs. Not saying that yours is not important because it is.but with covid hospitals around the world are feeling the pressure of a lot of people with covid and those with possible covid to get tested or if they have possible exposure to it.
With covidi it is over welming hospitals around the world. Read what I said to your other question for a more detailed answer.
I know it's over due to the fact you asked this 2 years ago. In the future just as a reference you should be able to find information on the website if ever needed agian.
Mercy Medical Center is a state-designated Primary Stroke Center and has received a Gold Plus award for stroke care quality from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
The main entrance building goes up to 6 floors, I believe.
Even though this was asked a year ago. But just as a general reference services provided by hospitals are covered usually under services on thier website. You can best find a service you need this way.
Should be on the website under that sevixe.
Try calling medical records.
At 299 carew st. Right near the main entrance
On the website under the services page you can read though to see what services they offer.
It depends, was the doctor given permission to talk in front of these visitors or did he just walk in and go bam- your gonna die.
It's a hospital.
Every hospital does because it's a safety issue and if for whatever reason they can't they have to be able to provide you with another location which in this case would be baystate
You should first verify if your primary care Doctor has any emergency appts for you or go to an urgent care facility. If those two aren't available, Then u should go to the ER.
Not sure ask someone there but if anything sometimes they are low in personal or they there might be an emergency around or maybe be is fild up but I recommend to ask someone
This information is unknown due to the urgency of people's needs. They go by who is worse of and not in order of who arrived.
Endoscopy Center. The main desk can direct you.
There are many hotlines and or email addresses to write to. You just need to know what department you need to be connected too but a lot of the times if your an outsider then you may not understand the circumstances or actions being taken
Listed in the website.
No. I've waited there before; I get it. Regardless of whether it's fair, you need to get your back examined. I highly recommend AFC walk-in clinic. Also, you don't know what was going on with that patient. It's Not a first-come, first-served system.

They will give you a code to set it up. Your DR's office ,then give you the registration code you can call them I belive
Sometimes if you go by a place, in a car or bus they pop up . Just don't answer or let them go you can mark them did not go there but they will pop up Again if you travel by them again. The app don't know
The lab is open 24 hours. What are you looking for, in particular? If you are looking to have blood drawn you would need to call for hours.
