$8 to park for residents and $30 to park for non MA residents is outrageous considering other nice parks to hike at in the area. Will not be going back.

Well-maintained and well-marked hiking trails. Nice view from atop Lookout Trail, and you can spot beaver dams from the Benedict Pond Loop. Bonus - very clean port-a-potty in the Benedict Pond Loop parking lot!

Yes they are! I would take a picture of the trail map at the boat dock or download the PDF online!
Just to answer my own question, my friends and i just got back from our stay and there are no showers, but there are flushing toilets and running water.
Camping is still closed. Sign up for Reserve America email notifications about Beartown. Once they open you should be notified.

Mountain bike are best. There is a whole range of road and trail conditions.
Yes. There is a fee to park. Bathrooms and changing rooms as well. Consult the website for prices.
A lot of people were fishing. I didn't see anyone catch a fish until my dad caught one lonely Crappie.
Yup. I walk there often with my dog leashed. Occasionally we get people with dogs off leash, but that seems to be the minority. If your dog loves water, he/she will love hiking around Benedict Pond!
