I can't express my disappointment in this franchise right now. My family and I have used CVS for decades despite the high priced products compared to other stores. I purchased Mucinex for some chest congestion, nothing too crazy. I took the medicine and soon after starting having stomach pains, vomiting and physically had no strength. The only change in diet was the medicine, so I looked at the back of the bottle and come to find out it was expired by 6 month. I had just purchased the item so I went back to the store, clearly sick and reported it to the Pharmacist who then directed me to the operation manager. I explained the situation, he saw the expired medicine and we went to take a look at the other products. After checking those too were expired. I was told that he would report it, and take it from there. No further information was provided. After calling CVS 5 separate times, creating a case number I was given the runaround. I spoke with Sedgewick who investigated the issue. They spoke with the Operation Manager directly, who reported that this is indeed what happened. They had my statement. I have the doctors statement from my medical visit. I have the bank transaction that the purchase was made and at that location. I was offered a $25.00 gift card. I have requested via email more than once to speak with a manager or someone in corporate. I am still waiting for this information. A response would be nice, because my intent was never to escalate. I shouldn't be responsible for a medical bill and having to find then pay for an emergency sitter because I physically couldn't care for my kids. This is all due to staff not paying attention while stocking the shelves.

This is about your East Providence store on Warren avenue. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever experienced my wife calls in her prescriptions 2 hours early so that when she gets out of work they will be ready which is 10:00 a.m. and yet when she arrives the orders have not even been entered into the computer and she has to wait another hour and a half on top of having an hour ride home. I have gone with her several times in and I have never seen anything go smooth or on time somebody needs to look into that store and see what the hell is going on obviously somebody's not doing their job properly we have had to return the following day several times and still it wasn't ready. Send somebody from your wound socket headquarters to the East Providence Warren avenue pharmacy and train these people how to do their job cuz this is ridiculous people's lives depend on it.

Went to a CVS in falls church VA where I had items worth over $125 to purchase and one of the candys they had on sale for 3 for $3 and the system kept showing $4 in total so TM called manager over for assistance. Right when he came he had such bad attitude towards his Two Team members that were trying to help but when I asked why can’t you just override the item or add a coupon to make it right. He straight up said “ I ain’t overriding nothing”, just walked away so that got be a little upset and I left everything there and walked out with out buying anything.. long story short you just lost a customer and $125 over $1 price change he had to make. How is that manager running the store.. his name was Dennis Hispanic guy.

They really don't. I worked for them for years and it was the worst time of my life.
Whatever happened?
They put you on hold and ignore you and hope you will go away.
CVS is, a monopoly that is run by Larry Marlo, A Pharmacist by profession. I do not think that he really cares what goes on at the consumer lev el....money is the primary objective, poor staffing at busy pharmacies, which lead to errors of commission and errors of omission. I have been shorted on medications, Had controlled medication scripts lost in the CVS system, Had rude pharmacist that refudes to act professionally. They do what they what and you are at their mercy. I suggest reporting it to the Pharmacy Board of TO or call DC to complain....i am planning to do the same thing!
I am ready to change pharmacies.. because they put me on hold for 30 - 40 minutes each time I call..and that annoying music makes it impossible to continue to hold after 30 minutes. (highway 92 in Acworth) Why they even have a pharmacy number is beyond me, they should answer "please hold for the rest of the afternoon" I took a shower, while on hold and still no one came to the phone. Going to check-out Walgreens and/or Walmart.
Indicative of who the real welfare queens and terrorists are. Your Oppression is their Profession. America is not a country, it's a business.
Tech: PTCB license & state license as appl. Pharm: Pharmacy Doctorate and state licenses
They only hier racist people u probably too good for them
Better to address complaints and constructive criticism directly with the corporate entity www.cvshealth.com/contact This forum is for Google users to share information.
Doesn't surprise me I can't ever reach them! Their $5 rewards program is a joke! I've earned over 8 and have never been able to use any of them and can't get a feasible response by email and can't find a good phone number for corporate.
Wow. 😯
Just get refill at other cvs
Call CVS and the operator will transfer you to the Customer Service department. The front desk people will tell anyone who goes there to make an appointment
Don't be Publically Embarrassed & Chastised by the Pharmacist at CVS On Church St Conway, SC. Pharmacy, has no right to hold your prescriptions hostage and not follow the doctors directive as prescribed! How dare they treat me like a Drug Addict and defamed my character. They NEED a Good Store Manager the new one is Lost, & the almost all new employees NEED to be Re-Trained. They are open to liability, with the current Management. Lost me & many others already!
Contact them ; or public relations
You could call the corporate office and make the suggestion
I have been having the same problems all the time I'm on medication for seizures and sometimes I go without it for days because nobody will pick up the phone. Also the internet website is so messed up in the pharmacist my doctor upgraded the same medicine to a different dose and they keep on sending me texts that I have to pick up the old dose of the medicine. I just left Walgreens and Coventry it's absolutely the worst one I have ever been to the go back to Cvs and not even within one year I'm ready to go they even listed as this patient has gone this many consecutive days without his medicine on the website because it's never been on time because of them, be nice if my doctor was to see that and say you supposed to be taking this medicine you need this medicine and take it away because they make it look like I'm gone 12 consecutive days. I hope this will influence you to making a decision and hope I helped you.
I'm sure they could make do without you ;)
If you did not do what you were allegedly to have done, don’t make an issue. U know u didn’t and that should be sufficient.Employees are to be observant of the store security. They may have made a mistake in your case. It only is an embarrassment if you make a scene otherwise a simple answer by you tells everyone hearing that the staff observed incorrectly. All you needed to say was something like I’m sorry to give an impression I took something however I did not. That should be enough. You don’t need to blow it up by being over sensitive. Most people around to hear could care less, they are concerned about their business in there not yours,
It would be obvious to everyone around hearing the conversation that you could have handled the situation better by not argueing back but instead just leave it. You embarrass yourself by blowing it up. If anything you might have said you appreciate the store is observant to people in their store but you you did not participate in a theift and drop it. Other customers could care less about your problem. They are there on their own business.
Obviously CVS Corporate fail to see their stores need more staff. Just keep contacting corporate of the problem. Should you have to ? No but it does help. The stores themselves answer only to them. The manager of each store has to do what corporate says so it falls on deaf ears to complain to the store manager. They are already aware of staff shortage but corporate controls all that.
Not surprized
Very good question to the business ops. 🤔 I think they will get back to you with some answers.
Do use that pacticly pharmacy I go to one in Pawtucket you can call and complain to the corporate office that would be helpful to get them rolling on the ball you have a great day
Its a corporation it's doors stay open to investors not how they treat you.
Anita mamn, they always notify me now but I did have problems a few years ago but they got new staff and it got better.
Hi Miss pomerance. Don't call the pharmacy. They are to busy to talk. Coronavirus pandemic has taken it's toll on the staff. Please use the automated service for reills and you can even get delivery and curbside service.
No.
I have had a hard time especially since 2021.
No
I have my medicine delivered. Is that an option for you?
Sorry I can't even imagine but living in R.I. I have many seriously problems. Like filling heat medicine same thing but two different doses was taken 1 mg pills and when I went up to 2 mg twice a day they were still trying to give me the one milligram pills at the same time. Prescriptions that I pick up together the same time every month of being filled at different times and that putting me down as like I am not taking my medicine, and the worst episode I set up delivery and they threw to narcotics in the mail which is against the law and sent them to an address that was 22 years old and they will return by the post office and they could not even find them and I went without remedications for five days. This just took place and I am so sick also fight in a serious disease my doctor is not aware of it yet but I'm sure when he is aware of this you might be seeing this on the news. Best luck to you in Maryland.
Probably lazy staff or taking the products home
What's the CVS excuse for not stocking antiseptic products for MONTHS?
maybe when you call the corporate # there will be a prompt to get you to that department, there is something on google call cvs corporate finance center at www.cube3.com that i just seen, hope i was able to help😉
You should be able to just respond "stop" to incoming text. Worked for me.
It’s your problem not theirs. If they did not do these things that only you can give permission for reminder calls then you would be complaining that the store had a responsibility to call and remind you of your medication status.
No, not open to public
Oh..did not realize that the fresh fruit, vegetables meats and poultry that I buy in a store, along with bottled water should have tax because I purchased them in a store..I believe there is a fallacy in your explanation...and FYI. I cook my meals..do not use processed foods, which are rightfully taxed. Thanks a lot for the information.I just will not go to CVS's for anything.
I imagine it's been miserable for employees and customers going in there but..... This is a questions for local guides for google maps. If you have issues with store conditions I would recommend emailing or calling the customer service for the company itself.
Sounds like a violation of HIPPA. Call an attorney.
Stupidity and yes very incompetent
Not sure I am understanding Are you saying that the pharmacy filled your prescription incorrectly?
They purposefully put you through the wringer....ask to speak with their legal team...IT is in Washington DC... Also call the Pharmacy State Bd of Your state and file a complaint and be sure to include.... LARRY MERLO IS THE CEO, ONE OF THE HIGHEST PD ONES, LIVES IN EAST GREENWICH, R.I. AND A PHARMACIST BY TRAINING... THEY MAKE YOU GO THROUGH 2 LEVELS ON THEIR USELESS 1 800 SHOP CVS LINE...GOOD LUCK...
Linda you have to call HR (human resources) some information isn't public disclosure all the time unless otherwise stated so they have a better answer
Doesn't surprise me....and their company is run by a Pharmacist...!!
Google CVS email scams...makes a bit concerned
