Positive: Staff was very accomodating and helpful. Free breakfast nicely done. Overall pleasant stay. Negative: Bed not too comfortable. Mattress too hard. Pillows could be a better quality. As for parking, it was very difficult finding a spot due to trailer trucks parking and taking up several parking spots.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was made very enjoyable by the warm and friendly interactions with the front desk. All the staff members were very accommodating and met and/or exceeded my expectations. Both Alli and Carmen were super friendly and very patient with all the Amazon packages I piled up behind their desk. They Always met any special requests with a smile on their face! The woman who prepares the breakfast buffet always was diligently working hard to make sure breakfast was served to all the hungry hotel guests. I didn't catch her name.

The hotel was clean, attractive, and our room was nice. The best part of our stay, though, was Carmen!! She was so friendly, so helpful, and so sincerely personable with us. Even when we didn't talk to her, just seeing her at the desk made us happy. She learned that my wife was meeting some of my family for the first time, encouraged her, and when we returned, asked her how everything went. She's one-of-a-kind, and truly irreplaceable.

I had no hot water in my shower and the staff treated me poorly when I brought it to their attention. They claimed it was hot. It was an insane thing to do customer service wise. The manager then came out and told me that they couldn't switch my room, but gave me $15.00 of my night. They can do much better. On the other hand, the bed was really comfortable!
