Excellent historic site! Really beautiful and informative. We enjoyed walking the nature trails.

A beautiful spot for immersing in 1700s structures with a corn mill (johnny/journey cake specialty, narragansett indian flint corn), a tobacco/snuff mill, the house where GW's portraitist was born, lots of paintings, and even some great ecological conservation work in the mix. The tours were informative, the art historian at the front desk was very enthusiastic and helpful in learning more about seemingly everything (and seems to have a flair for ordering fantastic literature in the gift shop).
