Our experience here at Orange Lake was pretty great. We only stayed a couple nights, and so maybe we didn't starting enough for a more thorough review. But we really enjoyed it here. The storm and rain messed up a lot of plans and our time to do them. But we did what we could and absolutely enjoyed it. Our 2 bedroom villa in North Village was big and spacious. Washer and dryers included with 3 packs of detergent. Sofa couch as well for the little brother that doesn't want to share a bed haha. Today we will explore more hoping the rain holds off a good amount. The main pool with the lazy river was awesome and I read somewhere that you had to pay, bit that's false. You pay to rent a tube bit you can just float in it, and my kids got in the slides for free yesterday. Hope you all enjoy

Always a great place for kids, family and golf. It is a timeshare. They have a sales pitch for you.

Orange Lake Resort's main phone number is 407-477-7025. Resort Services may also be reached from in-unit at extension '0' for any in-house assistance!
What is the best village to stay in for first timers with teenagers ?
o
Nothing is free. If you choose to do this, agree up front the required amount of time for the presentation, and if you are not interested just say no with no explanation. If you give a reason for your no they always have an answer.
Yes West Village First right turn past the main gate or last left leaving There are swings and a pool
Parking is first come first serve in front of your villa. You could end up walking a half a mile or more. They don’t even offer handicap parking for disabled guests in front of your villa.
You are allowed in the lazy river without anything, if you get on one of their tubes without a bracelet the lifeguards will kick you off
Yes
I went with RCI for a full week. They do initial cleaning, in the middle of the stay, but the times we request a change of towels they did it. As part of the room they put soap for washing (among other things) and for each floor there are free washers and dryers available.
the reserve is 20 bucks per person with a cart after 4, great deal. Before 4 the reserve is 55 and the legends is 80. Cranes bend is 32 and legends walk is 25.
Yes, depends on the day/time.
They do not have on site car rentals but they do have shuttles to take you all around the orange lake property.
You can mail anything there. I don't think they open packages....
We were there 2 weeks ago as well and were told we had to bring own clubs
They are heated but they are off now the pool Temp is 81 degrees now and the spas are about 101 or 102 right now
If you stay at their resort they usually provide a $20 coupon discount to the overall total. Better than nothing 🤷🏽♂️
I have seen small RV's parked. But you should call to confirm what size they accept on property.
It is the backside of the north village but if you want the best view of the fireworks there's a parking lot in the east village with the best view
Yes. But it's more expensive. Better to get them online yourself. They give better deals for universal studios.
We're staying in one now, far back side of resort, past River Side, all the way back.
If you are an onwer, you can call customer service and give them the information. If you are not an owner, you can book it online through the website.
65.for 1/2 hour 100. For an hour
No.. Villa's have only have room for the number of bed and sleeper sofa. It not a party house. Three bedroom sleeps 12/ four bedroom sleep 16.
If you're renting the place for a specific time, yes they can. All they need is the room # so the gatehouse can direct them to you
Orange lake is huge - the pools are ground level where handicapped or people with mobility issues can get in or out. (I use my stroller everywhere) They have lifts to enter water. Navigating the common areas are not difficult. The main building has an elevator and single room rentals. Villas can be single floor or 2 story. The tennis courts area and river island vary from 4-8 floors but have elevators as well. My aunt is in a motorized wheelchair and we as a family made orange lake a perfect meeting point so she could vacation in comfort. You must request a room if you need full wheelchair capability. In regards to a big skyscraper orange lake is not that villas and a few larger buildings. It's perfect, landscape, pools, sites, stores, close to public and other eateries, hope this helps ! God bless !
Yes you can been going for 15 yrs u can always use the pools , bars and restaurants just obviously no more room key , pay with a card but let them kno your n owner and they still hook u up with 10% off
No. You can book rooms/villas without being a member directly (online) with the resort. They will offer the 90min tour when you get your parking permit. If you are not interested, decline the invitation and enjoy your stay.
I agree with all the other people. But Universal is about 30 min away. Sea world is 35 to 40 min away
Wifi is not private, it is an open system. speed was DSL speed of 6mbps download and 2 upload. wireless using speedtest.net .
We had $20 of tickets if we purchased day of arrival. After doing the tour, we did end up receiving a $400 voucher for tickets and entertainment while on vacation. Purchase at the Torah was not mandatory and the $400 would still have been given to us. We opted out of using the $20 voucher discount because we weren't sure of where we wanted to go on our first day, we ended up using the $400 to go towards dinner shows while there as we had already purchased our Disney and Universal tickets before arriving.
Most of the little house buildings are in the West and North village. The East village and river island, has I believe only condo type 2 bedrooms. Bonus' to each type. The building ones have screened in porches and the townhouse ones do not but tend to have nice grass or water areas behind. We have been in both the town homes and the buildings. They were both great. I found the townhome type a little more spacious. We own in the West village so we always get a townhome from now on.
Yes, they allow early check in if your villa is ready for check in. You can use the resort until it is ready. They also have shuttles going to the parks. They are at set times and leave from West village main check in.
They are either in the hall closet or just off the kitchen behind bifold doors. Full sized machines though. They provide 2 boxes of laundry detergent if you need more there is a publix right out side the gate in the East village side. Also pick up fabric softner if needed
Yes for a price you can also rent water tube as well.
They have noodles you can buy from the shops poolside
Next to Marketplace (the Starbucks) Security is right next door where lost and found is located in West Village.
Uber has a web page where you can get estimated prices.
You can ride the free shuttle, drive or walk (some are quite a distance but doable)
Their new offers for ownership are based on a points system but they still have many fixed week owners who will pass their timeshares down in inheritance.
Yes you can check in early. But only if your unit is clean and ready.
Golf course is separate from the owners discount from what I was told
$13 to play
I've noticed online you are also able to rent rooms, villas along with people using their timeshares. I love saying in the North Village.
No
They do have a onsite spa, not too sure if they do nails, however there is a nail shop across the street in the shopping center located directly infront of the main entrance
You must be an owner. The guards will not let you in unless authorized
It depends on the size you get, time of year you go, if you do a timeshare presentation( there are incentives sometimes with that too), etc... We really enjoyed our stay and would go again.
Cheaper to rent a car from hertz or another company...as for availability not sure I can help you..
No cleaning or pick up required as a crew comes in to thoroughly sanitize the villas. However, we did gather used towels and we did throw out the trash each time it was full. Trash bags (recycle and regular) were availsble. Any dishes used just before checkout were put in the dishwasher and set to wash cycle.
The address for the west is 8505 w irlo bronson memorial hwy, Kissimmee FL. And that take me straight to the resort.
Looks like they've answered your question
Each village has a variety of rooms available.
Everything was open when we were there last month.
It can be used anywhere on resort property. There's no spa at the Kissimmee location, but there's good restaurants. You can use it for water sport rentals like jet skis, paddle boats, etc. Pretty sure you can use it for tickets also, but if so, they would have to be purchased at the resort, most likely at the founders' club.
Theirs a hut in the pool area where you could grab them and there are pass for the jet ski & golf if im not mistaken. Enjoy!🙏🙏
No pets allowed unless they are service animals
Same room, but higher end hotel service. Not worth it for us. Sorry I don't have my book to be more specific. Call the vacation councilor.
Just on check in
8am then river island is closed from 2:30 to 3:30 for cleaning.
No. No buffet or continental breakfast. All the villas or rooms we've stayed in over the last 10+ years have full kitchens.
Yes it is open, and closes for 1 hour (2:30-3:30pm) daily for cleaning and sanitation purposes and you can also rent the tubes for $9
That I'm not familiar with you'll have to contact then n directly
At registration. When you go thru the security gate they will direct you to the main clubhouse.
Yes and there are gift shops out on the main road just a little ways up and down the road
The prices varies. We paid 50 bucks a month for 2 yrs. Got a 5 day stay. We went to a time share appointment
Yes you need to call the resort though
There is a golf course, mini golf, water sports, gym, arcade, bingo, restaurants, bars, market, everything you need for a great vacation.
Go to their website. It's pretty nice, though
This is not a Disney resort, so you don't get Magic Bands.
In some areas, but you need to call to confirm the areas
Just their way of getting you to pay more $$$ for their different tier memberships. Remember, when you are at their timeshare table everything is negotiable.... MAKE SURE TO GET IT ALL IN WRITING.... sales people lie. They flat out lied to me about the RCI exchange fees. Luckily i knew my stuff before i went in and called out the sales person on it.... he was embarrased. Orange lake has their freshly remodeled rooms and their older rooms that are about 20+ years old, but are still well maintained.
Sign says no outside floaties. But I did see someones child with a floatie and no one said anything
Yes.
I would go online or call before showing up.
At least 350 to 259 per night. I understood Spanish be can't rite it sorry primotext be if you want there is a prom going on
No, 10 miles from universal. It's very close to Disney Animal kingdom and Magic kingdom.
If you use google, there are places that will buy your timeshare with no problem .
We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a sleeper sofa. It was able to accommodate 8.
yes they have a BBQ area and we stayed in a bungalow and they allow grilling on your own grill out back as long as it's 25 feet away from the building
Not sure sorry, but if you go on their web site I'm sure it'll help.
It is immense. The children eat for free. After that, they order the menue of children. Everyone is very kind. It's worth the trip
Every time we stayed there, there always was a pull out sofa bed. In all 1,2, or 3 bedroom units.
Yes, you can either call housekeeping or talk to them at check in
They try to keep everything in top shape... Haven't been to the lazy river yet this year... but I'm sure it's got periods of time when they work to repaint etc
Water park is done, not a bad place to stay in the complex
Yes they have a lake you can fish in. By the west village.
I do not believe that there is a limit as long as they are there with you. You can check out the founder's club pool it has a water slide and also a kids pool and splash pad.
Yes you can request one. It is an outside service but they will set it up for you.
You may want to call the hotel directly. I'm not sure if they check this frequently.
We have done it before there just like that with 4 adults 4 kids and a baby. We put all 4 kids in the living room on the pull out and the Walmart air mattress. Worked great for the small kids. We did put them in the bedroom with 2 beds a couple nights to get them to sleep earlier. Worked out well. Next time I will look for a 3 bedroom there since the kids are now teenagers.
No parking fees
Yes, it's only 10-15 minutes from the resort. The Uber driver will know where to drop you. Instead of parking, the driver will say he's dropping you off and he'll get a placard to drop you off
I have seen golf carts used for people playing golf. I'm sure you can rent one to get around. The also have a shuttle with lots of stops in different areas so you don't have to drive. You can also use your own car to get around.
No idea either......
Became a member of the IHG Rewards Club on line before deciding that points would work well for us. Took a trip to Ireland and stayed for free in the Dublin area. Recently we bought into the Holiday inn Club Vacations to get annual points. We have our 4 kids names included. One is using points for their annual Vegas convention. Hubby and I are trying out resorts with golf courses. Still have to pay maintenance fees though.
Yes pools are heated, not sure about the shuttle, we rented a car
I believe so I've been there a couple of times and I've always had a DVD player in the living room
You should call them directly.
https://www.redweek.com/calendar
Call the operator
Good morning, at the resort they sell tickets to all the parks with a small (very small) discount
10 dol tube wristband. You can find empty tube and use for a while. Till get around to rental spot. The tubes are too deep for my liking. 2 to 4 foot deep
If they clean after you go out but the trash you take it out into the hall and they take it away
I believe all areas have 2 bedroom units. Ours were in West Village, very nice units.
The only benefit i have experienced is the 10 percent discount on anything you purchase on the property. That being said, i can go there way cheaper as a non owner and save a fortune in initial payment and taxes and upkeep. Timeshare are a rip off. The millionaires club has no problem getting reservations when and where they want.
No they dont sell the tickets there anymore. They may offer them if you go on a tour to try and sell you a timeshare
There are a few shuttles to different places.
Yes its call Meets shuttle & there located at the airport.
August 5-11, 12-18,19-25,26-sept1
Depend of the offers you paid. Inside are restaurant.
What about me bringing a "noodle"? I like mine instead of a tube.
I believe they posted it was closed in January
If the handicap units are on the end of the building, why is the parking in the .middle?
We stayed in the signature be units and to be truthful we personally dodnt use one. My Grandson thinks tjey have one. To be sure, of i were you, i would call the property and talk to the clerk at the checkin.
Depends on what you want ro do...we rented a car, there are good deals.
Just ask. They will do it. Or you can do it yourself.
Standard view I'm pretty sure is the parking lot. I don't think I've ever seen a one bedroom. Most of them are two and three bedrooms.
The villa is defined pretty much like a home; you have a bathroom (s), bedroom (s), separate living room, full kitchen with pots and pans as well as washer and dryer! They also have patios!
Fish in the pond next to the 2nd green on the reserve. Its a small pund but it has some 5+ pound bass in it. The bigger pond next to the driving range has some big bass too.
I would call them directly since they have different policies for different way of reserving. Some bookings are non refundable while some have to be cancelled within certain time frame
We just got back home and stayed in the East Village. 86800 area, it is quiet and had a pool nearby. The West Village is more children oriented with lots of activities and play area.
We bought our from under cover tourist. Got 3 days for the price of 2.
I saw someone with some sort of floating thing for a baby with a sun shade built in to it, we asked where they got it and they said Target across the street.
Nit sure. I would call and ask.
I did not see a wired connection anywhere in our villa. The wifi was one of the best that I have seen on any of my vacation or work stays. There seems to be access across the whole property.
I'm not sure what that is.But my sister & myself stayed in one of there 2 bedroom villas & they were wonderful. The place is A+.Id like to take my son & his family & my daughter & her family there in the future.
They have 2 bdm lockouts that sleep up to 10 ppl.
Dana which of the 4 areas did you stay in your room looks nice. Keep seeing so many bad reviews
Yes ...it is good enough...you can request a crib for toddler too
Not only transport to and from the airport. I think
West is the best. Cool.
Yes, the carriers deliver to the Warehouse. You have to pay a fee of USD10 per package to withdraw.
My guess would be no, it's only for owners and guests of the resort. The golf courses are open to the public, may want to ask someone there about other recreational policies.
No, you have to stay there. But if any guest is staying there who is known to you, you can use pool for FREE !!!
Yes you can
No just a shuttle around the complex. It is not that far to Disney and a taxi is very inexpensive
The same items you recycle at home , or you can just throw them away in the outside trash cans. Just as long as you and your guest clean up after your selfs that good for everyone.if there's anyone looking too buy a timeshare week 32 in the summer month of August, my unit is up for sale for $6,000.00 dollars also i have a realtor on standby in Florida.
There's always a tattoo place nearby in Disneyland, drive down 192 hwy mile marker 6 near downtown Kissimmee FL.
2 pools. One they play movies at 2x a week. Breezes bar and grill is right there If you wanted drinks poolside as well.
I haven't tried the breakfast buffet but the food at the restaurants is good and reasonably priced. That being said, I order food from Walmart Grocery on my way in (the closest is on Clermont) and pick it up on my way to the resort. You don't even have to get out of the car. They literally have it bagged and put it in your car for you, no extra charge.
Yes
Built I believe in the early 70's mostly the West and north village area. Added on more recently the East village and river island. Newer, gorgeous condo buildings.
Pretty long and it splits off in different directions at several places. You can spend an hour there easy.
There are multiple units to choose from. The 2 bedroom is set up like a condo with a master bedroom and a bathroom for kids or visitors. I would say you need more of a 3 bedroom at least if there are 8 adults.
Lazy River should be open later today. No major damage. Power is on.
No issues!
They are totally fine and are open!
The resort is open. No major damage. Power is on.
No airport shuttles
I think so. They just got power. TOTALLY lied about havunga generator though. They said if the power doesn't stat on they're kicking everyone out.
No, not at all. A few amenities closed due to the storm but overall very safe for now.
Yes they are heated
