Every time I go here(and it's rare because this is thw worat Ingles between Haywood and Buncombe Counties) it's a mis-adventure. Stopped out of convenience last week for a sub. Stood at the counter for subs for quite some time as no less than 3 employees working directly behind that counter saw me waiting but did and said nothing. One girl at the register for deli literally just stood there picking under her finger nails(gross) as she did nothing but stare and watch me wait??! Finally a young fella at the opposite end of the deli section(where they slice meats) sees me and has to yell across the section to tell me he's sorry for my wait and that he will be with me in a moment(bless him, seemingly the only one truly working and with any sense of customer service). Finally this got the attention of the woman who I guess was dedicated to making subs for the day. Seems like there might be a system in place where everyone has their tasks for the day, but there was no reason that any of the other employees I made eye contact with couldn't have informed the woman over the sub counter someone was waiting. They literally locked eyes with me, and the proceeded to pick nails, lazily wipe a table, and transfer lettuce from one place to another; none of those tasks I would think are too demanding that they couldn't have given a heads up to their coworker whose back was turned to me and didn't see me waiting. I've worked in the industry most my life, I KNOW it can be done better. Bless that fella at the meat slicer or who knows how long they would've simply watched me stand there like it was for my own entertainment.

This is a great grocery store. Prices are right and staff is nice. Stores are clean and they usually have gas pumps in the parking lot and a Starbucks in the front of the store. Very nice.

Used the pickup option which was easy. Personal shopper was friendly and helpful. Not everything was in stock, but it was only a couple of items for which I didn't want substitutions.
