The food was good, fast, and attentive service. The margarita was a bit on the weak side and the place could use a bit of a facelift. Overall good experience.

Lowering my most recent review. The service was terrible. We were at the restaurant for over an hour before our food arrived. The beans SHOULD be called a "bean paste," as they tasted awful, and were runny. The rice was soggy, overcooked, and tasted terrible. The shredded-chicken tasted and looked as if it came out of a can. Chips arrived at our table about half-an-hour after we sat down. And we were first approached by a waitress 10 minutes after sitting down. I had to walk to the kitchen to retrieve the tortillas for my wife's fajitas, because they didn't arrive with our food, and the waitress hadn't shown up with them for over 10 minutes after initially delivering our food. Do not waste your time going to this Mexican restaurant: just go into Candler, and go to El Chapala. It is WAY better, and the service is a leagues above what you will experience at this restaurant. -An Asheville Native (and Canton local)

Best place in town to eat. And they welcome law enforcement unlike the other place on radio hill. Great food as well. Max is the man!!
