I give the lower falls only 5 stars. Great waterfall and short hike, and a great swimming hole with rocks to jump off of. The upper falls is a strenuous hike, and not very well marked, and just ok. Not worth it to me.

This was such a beautiful stop! We took the upper falls trail and the lower loop trail. Parking was pretty chaotic so we had to park a good ways down the road and walk back to it, but it was definitely worth it! …

Love it here. Beautiful!!! Nice trails. 2 waterfalls. Walking to the lower falls is easier, we did it with our baby. But it's still hard to get fully down to the falls. Just be careful with small children or older people. Only downfall ....it's super packed and hard to get a parking spot. There are bathrooms but they are pretty gross.

A short scenic loop with waterfalls, rapids, and lots of biodiversity. Great morning hike before or after breakfast.

Graveyard Fields got their name from a windstorm that knocked down hundreds of fir and spruce trees. The tree stumps then became covered with moss resembling tombstones. Also when the area was being logged a fire came through the valley and devastated it. heated up the soil so much that it sterilized the soil. Making it look like a graveyard. Slowly overtime grasslands, shrubs and trees are starting to come back..

The story I heard/read was that after a severe forest fire during logging operations years ago, the remaining tree stumps in the valley looked like headstones in a graveyard. Still very few trees of any size there now. But it's a beautiful area.
