Graveyard Fields got their name from a windstorm that knocked down hundreds of fir and spruce trees. The tree stumps then became covered with moss resembling tombstones. Also when the area was being logged a fire came through the valley and devastated it. heated up the soil so much that it sterilized the soil. Making it look like a graveyard. Slowly overtime grasslands, shrubs and trees are starting to come back..
Blueberries bigger than you can imagine
No graves. The old stumps of the trees used to resemble tombstones.
As soon as you start to see wild berry's that's the fields. They are over grown it was as one time tree stumps. But they are not sure how it came to have that name. There is also 2 water falls.
It's named that from the way the tree stumps looked. Like tombstones. So I'm told
There are no Graves. It's a field and a forest. There's a parking lot in bathrooms and the front. You can walk down steps to the river and the waterfall.
