Every year our experience with Lowell state park just seems to get better and better,the electrical outlets and stove under the cover building all seem to be in tip top shape along with the clean bathrooms.We highly recommend this site over all others and free parking really is free. Our experience was very satisfactory. I highly recommend this area...!!!!

The shore is excellent for small children to wade into the water. No steep slippery or muddy incline to deal with. It’s a great place to spend a sunny warm day. Lots of families. The only negative is the restroom is far away

There are no standard fees associated with the park-- from their website. Fairly certain you don't have to pay for anything other than the shelters.
