I loved visiting this park. While many of the trails are over broken ground, they are well-marked at all points and I never lost my place. As with many parks, some of the trails are more challenging than others - I would recommend speaking to the staff at the park office about the different options before setting off or making sure that you can read and pay attention to the contour map! I made the mistake of picking a set of trails without doing this and had a much harder time than I thought - luckily I had brought extra water along.

Loved that it was open before camping season starts. Quiet and good walking trails. I've been camping here for the last 10 years only thing that's bad is absolutely no phone service

Excellent hiking (though finding the orange trail for the shorter loop is challenging), plenty of camp sites and a pavilion you can rent. Beautiful stream runs throughout the park, great fall foliage when the season is right!

Love this place! Wonderful trails for all abilities, picnic tables with grills, a gazebo, campgrounds and everything is maintained very well.

Yes

The Macedonia brook state park blue loop trail is absolutely marvelous 10.3.21 well cleaned and very easy to follow. But this blue trail can be accessed at various points....but just wondering...is there an official trail head location?

Jose Miguel Pasini | Oct 14, 2021

Not sure how official this is, but the main entrance has parking near the pavilion. From there you walk back south a couple of minutes and you can enter on the left or right, depending on whether you want to do it clockwise or counterclockwise.
