Our visit to White Wolf Sanctuary was a truly amazing experience. We learned so much and we were able to see 5 out of the 7 wolves that currently live at WWS. Our host Nicola was so welcoming and knowledgeable. In seeing how the wolves interact with her, it is obvious how well she treats them and how fond they are of her. My family of 4 (husband, 19 year old son, 19 year old stepson and myself) all agree that this was BY FAR the highlight of our Oregon Coast vacation, and well worth the cost.

I booked this spontaneously while traveling down the coast; it was advertised on Airbnb experiences. I didn’t know what to expect and had low expectations. I knew next to nothing about wolves. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip and I learned a lot! The wolves are ethically cared for and the volunteers are so passionate and knowledgeable. I recommend this to anyone in the area and it is appropriate for all-ages. It took about 2 hours total.

One of the best adventures to be had on the Oregon Coast! This was an absolutely enchanting and highly educational adventure that a friend booked. Every moment, from the Jurassic Park vibes of the drive in, to glimpsing the wolves from the gravel road, to learning (to my shock and pleasure) that we are approaching 200+ wild wolves in oregon and learning all about their history, seeing the size of their feet, and finally walking around to meet each wolf, learn their story, and (lucky us) hear them howl—wow. I heartily recommend booking this adventure to everyone and have been telling my friends and family who love the oregon coast that this is a must-book private tour. I wear my wolf shirt all the time now, too. Thank you so much to the wonderful volunteers and conservationists whose work and care made this experience possible.

Had an incredible time visiting the sanctuary! The wolves were not only beautiful but seemed very well taken care of. Nicola was a wonderful guide and taught us some great historical knowledge about wolves as a whole. Definitely recommend visiting!Thank you so much!

It is so spiritually grounding..
No but they do take donations. The wolves are rescues, but also wild
Tours are available at 10am & 1pm. It is best to make a reservation in advance.
They make appointments ahead of time. Try calling the number and leaving a message for more information and further instructions.
It's a great tour and experience, the Wolves are very well looked after. It's probably the best way to see them outside of thier natural environment. We contacted by email, found this the best way
Yes you can, but it's more like they interact with you then them. It was a highlight of our travels in Portland. Highly recommend
I went in October, the fee was 50$ per person. You must make an appointment to see the wolves, you cannot drop in to that facility. We had a nice experience, and our host/guide was very nice.
Yes there is a fee and tours must be booked in advance. There are no drop in hours.
