This is a much needed community service agency! It is a non-profit agency that springs into action to help our community in need of immediate or impending danger to provide interventions and resources, whether a male or female victim in crisis. The crisis line coordinates with local city and county law enforcement by multi-tasking with each other to resolve necessary and immediate help for Onslow residents in immediate danger and victims of abuse. The center provides advocates, free of charge, help guide victims during hospital stays and/or court settings to help relieve current and impending concerns raised due to abusers. The Women's Center also helps maneuver through all services that may be available to victims that are needed urgently to keep them safe. This in turn allows other county services to step in to help victims succeed by ensuring safety and security to families or individuals by providing self advocacy skills and resources to move on to be independent of their abusers. I highly recommend this wonderful service that they provide to victims. Everything discussed with staff is confidential which is a necessary requirement when in crisis. Kudos!

Yes, absolutely.

I need help, I don't know where to go. I need to leave my boyfriend but I don't have money or friends and family. I have a 2 year old so her being around him isn't good either. Where can I find some advice or help? I'm desperate and scared. Thanks.
