I had a sump pump installed in my home to prevent flooding. However, they never confirmed that the sump pump was functional. After having my basement flooded with a dysfunctional sump pump again after installation, I called for several weeks and was unable to reach anyone to schedule an appointment. When I finally made contact with an employee he informed me that Foundation 1 was no longer in business. I had to pay out of pocket for another company to come and do the installation after contacting the manufacturer who supplied me with another sump pump.

Should be zero stars. This company has gone under. Need to get our deposit back and can’t reach out to anyone at the office. This is crazy haha.

We had an egress window installed. Office staff was friendly and communicated appointment times that worked for us. Crew was friendly, hard working, and punctual. They were in and out in two days, and we are very happy with the results. Very easy process, would highly recommend.

Although our initial experience was great, we haven't had such good luck this time. Our "Lifetime Warranty" is apparently not as important to them as it is to us. We've been trying to get them back out to fix a spot that is leaking for weeks now, but they won't call us back after the initial look at the property. They agreed dirt moving was needed, and they agreed to do it, but haven't followed through. Very disappointing!

There are many things that cause foundation damage. A few that we check for during our free foundation inspection are the soil conditions, drainage systems in place, and hydrostatic pressure
Foundation1 offers free evaluations and estimates to all home owners and business owners.
We service both the Overland Park, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri areas.
A great first step is to call us to send out an evaluator. The process they use to determine this is to use a laser to measure if the home has settled. The laser is set to level and we measure to the bottom of the ceiling or floor joists to identify differential levels. This process is the most scientific way to identify home settlement, and will show the evaluator which parts of your foundation need to be piered, and which do not.
