Horrible experience. All I needed was an oil change, I was there for over 45 minutes after I got in the bay. I didn't receive updates on what took so long. They "forgot" to show me the stick after they were done. When I asked to see it, they got an attitude. He asked about my tires when I first arrived. When I drove off. I reset my oil life, when going through the prompts I realized they didn't air up my tires. What did you do for 45 minutes? Don't go there.

Lazy store with inadequate knowledge and tools. I won't be back and you should avoid this location entirely, here's why.... What I drive: Toyota 4Runner (5th Gen - 2018) What services I needed: Oil Change, Transmission Fluid Change, Front & Rear Differential Oil Change, Transfer Case Oil Change What got done: Nothing (no, I'm not kidding) Time spent: 1hr in and out I went in today to get my 4Runner serviced and the first thing they have me do is wait about 20 minutes for the next bay. When I get in, they finally tell me that their pump is broken and I can’t get the 0W-20 oil. No big deal, I can do the rest and get the oil changed elsewhere later. They then tell me they can’t connect their machine to my transmission and would need to drain and fill it manually. I told them this is fine. They go under the SUV and proceed to ask me if it is a 4WD model, yes, though I had told the worker as they were asking questions initially on what I needed done. They spend maybe 15-20 minutes underneath and then tell me they can’t work on it. I have had it serviced at another Valvoline location for everything except the transfer case previously. My 4Runner has 0 drivetrain modifications and they couldn’t even figure out how to work on it. This is a basic Toyota SUV and they couldn’t do any work on it, that is saying something. All in all, I spent right around an hour to get nothing done. I won’t be back.

I stopped in for an oil change on 7/10. First time visit to Valvoline. The guys there were facing some challenges because of being short staffed, but they did everything right from a customer experience standpoint. When I drove up there was already a car in each of the three bays, but I was the next car in line. One of the bays had been blocked off after he previous car pulled in. I waited a few minutes before someone came out and explained that they were short on staff that day and the wait might be longer than usual. Bonus points for informing the customer. At that point, I could make a decision to wait or leave. Some businesses would rather keep customers "on the hook" and waiting rather than explaining that they might have a longer wait. I appreciate Valvoline placing an emphasis on customer experience rather than keeping as many people in line as possible. Once the car in front of me exited. I pulled in. Again, one of the guys explained that they were short on staff that day and apologized for the longer wait. Bonus points to Valvoline for accountability. Then, the really great experience started. I waited awhile longer as the team serviced the other two cars that were there before me. A couple of times cars pulled up to wait, and someone went out to explain the that their wait would be longer than usual. Despite the fact that it was hot (90+ degrees) and changing oil on dozens of cars a day can't be fun, the three guys working had outstanding positive attitudes. They were friendly and talkative to each other and to those of us waiting in our cars as they were being serviced. Unfortunately, it's rare anymore to see such great attitudes and such terrific customer service in any service or retail shop. While Valvoline says a 15-minute oil change, it took about 45 minutes total from the time I pulled up to the time I left. Compare that to the place I had tried to go the previous week. That national chain shop told me it would be 90 minutes when I dropped off my car. Three hours later I called them and was told they hadn't even started, and there were still four cars in front of me. So, I picked up my car and that's how I ended up at Valvoline. I tell you, 45 minutes in and out and I didn't have to drop off my car? I'll take that any day! I don't live in Overland Park and was only there for the day, but Valvoline is building a shop in Lawrence and I can't wait! It will be my first choice for oil changes from now on.

Hi Michelle. As a quick lube facility, we unfortunately do not. A full service shop can help with this!
If you are very close, within a mile, and the motor is not overheating, go straight there.
From the time they start on your car to the time it's over 15-20 minutes.
