Blowing Rocks is so beautiful and special. They open from 9-4:30pm. The only downside is parking space is very limited. Suggest you visit either very early or maybe 30min before they close to get a parking spot.
Jeff
Very nice little place to spend some time swimming and snorkeling. Have to watch the tides to see the water through the rocks, otherwise get to see a rocky coast only. Good place for shell collecting for kids.
brooke perfeito
HIGHLY recommend visiting. It was really hot the day we went. Maybe gp when it's cooler. You walk a small trail thats all trees, then you hit beach and rocks are right there. Beach was loaded with turtle eggs as well. Just breath taking. The education center was informative and had very clean bathrooms

This beach was BEAUTIFUL!!! Crystal clear water for snorkeling A sea turtle swam right by us!

The one entrance has parking in the front and right across the street where the educational center is. It opens at 9am till 4:30pm (right now is turtle 🐢 nesting season) but there are other entrances to watch the sunrise and sunset from.
High tide is when you get big sprays. Low tide there are no sprays.
I think it is donations, you can always park a couple hundred feet away and walk there it is a public beach. And look up a local tide chart on Google.
I have never seen an alligator in the Atlantic Ocean. If you're looking for a nice Beach to go swimming I would go a little further south into Juno where the beach is more compatible for people. I find the Blowing Rock is a little rocky it has a cliff of rocks which is why the water blows.
Parking lot closes then. You can walk from coral cove up the beach to it
Bring your own shade. The beach is unforgiving in the amount of sun it provides. Showers to rinse off, limited parking, amazing views. If lot is full, park at coral cove and walk down beach.
Hi Austin! Blowing Rocks' parking lots and trails close at 4:30pm. If you wish to enjoy the local beach outside of those hours, you can park at Palm Beach County's Coral Cove Park (located one miles south of Blowing Rocks) between sunrise and sunset. The rocks extend to their shoreline, and you can also walk north on the beach to view the rocks on the far south end of the preserve.
No, it’s very primitive with limited parking. Get there very early and be prepared to hike.
Yes it is a shallow beach
Hello! Great question. We are open all year long. Temporarily, we are open Wednesday-Sunday from 9:00am to 4:30pm, and we hope to fully open back to 7 days a week in the near future. The preserve will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. We hope to have you join us on the Preserve this season!
Hello William, thanks for your question! Personal photography is allowed but photoshoots are not permitted. For alternate locations with similar rocky shorelines we recommend that you check out Coral Cove Beach Park in Jupiter or the House of Refuge Beach in Stuart.
Hi there! Yes, the preserve trail that leads to the beach is closed during our closed hours. The closest public beach access is located approximately one mile south of Blowing Rocks, at Palm Beach County's Coral Cove Beach Park.
Hi Esteban, Blowing Rocks is currently open Wednesday-Saturday from 9:00am-4:30pm. We are closed on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. For the most up-to-date information, you can check our website at www.nature.org/blowingrocks
Hi Cindy, Blowing Rocks is currently open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week. We are closed on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.
Unfortunately not
It's limited access. The education center remains closed to the public but the beach side is open as long as there are opened parking spots
Hi there, Blowing Rocks is currently closed to the public. When we are open to visitors, we do not allow photo shoots on the preserve. You can view our full list of preserve rules on our website at www.nature.org/blowingrocks. Thank you!
Paddle boarding is allowed on both sides (Indian River Lagoon and Atlantic Ocean), but there are no launch or haul out sites within the preserve boundaries. Many people like to enter the water at Coral Cove Park, located just 1 mile south of the preserve. Blowing Rocks Preserve does not offer rentals, and it is always recommended to check the tides and weather when planning a day on the water.
In the best interests of the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, visitors and the community, Blowing Rocks Preserve is closed until further notice. Please continue to check our website for the latest information at nature.org/blowingrocks.
Hi Joel, we do not have a reopen date set. You can find the latest information on our website, www.nature.org/blowingrocks
In the best interests of the health and safety of staff, volunteers, visitors and the community, The Nature Conservancy has determined many of the publicly accessible preserves with certain risks, such as Blowing Rocks Preserve, will remain closed until further notice. All preserve events have been cancelled until further notice.
No. At least I didn't see any. The path to the beach is rocky. But call to make sure.
Goggle it
If you are going to snorkel, make sure that the high tide is actually high. But yes you can snorkel and there's a lot to see.
You are allowed to fish and to scuba dive in this preserve. Here is the Martin County web site https://discovermartin.com/blowing-rocks-preserve-hobe-sound/
Not the best place for a toddler, some places are not too safe + no life guards.
Yes, but very few. Largest parking lot area is on the opposite side of the road. Additionally depending on type of handicap, you start on a boardwalk, then through a very beautiful area on a walkway made up of crushed ??? , at the end you walk up a set of stairs to a small landing, you can see for miles. Then to get to actual beach you descend a lot of stairs. The sitting area holds ?? 4 to 5 people. Very congested. Good luck
it's not an environmentally responsible act to remove articles from Florida to return to Texas as much as you would love to do it.
Yes 11am.
They have a Information center like a building on the other river side near the parking lot. Ask them any permission?
no
There is additional parking across the street. I found it to be mildly crowded everytime, small lot was always full when we went, but worth the effort of finding alternative parking if necessary .
Hey Carl...Nick here....get on that there Google machine....type in the search area as follows: tides, blowing rocks, Jupiter, FL....if you get to Jupiter without Google mindreading, congrats! Enjoy
There are bathrooms in the conservatory which is centrally located in the trails. As far as footwear, comfort is key. Some of the trails are sand and great for going barefoot while others are crushed coral and can be sharp.
4:30. They're open every day except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Across the street is the building they should have someone in there who can help.
