Nice place and we’ll kept. But for $15 a pop, I’d expect more than a few rock exhibits, bamboo, and bushes. Maybe expectations were too high. I will say it’s very relaxing. Just nothing more than a pretty public park.

Entry is $15 per adult. It's a wonderful quick stroll and a relaxing, zen experience that will take up no more than 1 to 1.5 hours. Go in the morning if you want to beat the sun and the crowds. The garden itself is set up as a series of connected gardens and the entire thing is about 1.5 miles (so not that large and very walkable). There is a clear path that is a mix of dirt, grass, pebbles and uneven stones so I suggest not wearing heels ladies. Lots of benches along the way for you take a rest or just sit and admire. Generally most of the walk is semi-shaded and there's an audio guide that you can download if you want to learn more about each garden. They have an on-site little cafe with hot foods, sushi, ice cream and drinks that closes a few hours before the park. Lastly, do stop by the mini museum and gift shop. When I went there was a large art installation from 6 different artist and an imported ancient Teahouse on display. The gift shop is well priced and you can find a few cute items under $10. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'd recommend going with children 3-12 y/o unless, the temperature is below 75 degrees and your kid would be entertained by simply looking at trees and waterfalls. Enjoy!

You can certainly outside the building. We brought snacks and ate of the path
Yes, quite often, https://morikami.org/accessibility/#more-8293
Their Lantern Festival in October is incredibly popular and the garden has lots of flowers. Their Japanese New Year's celebration this January is also quite spectacular
It is wheelchair accessible, but they don't have wheelchairs for rent.

Yes it is open and so is the restaurant but they close at 5pm and the restaurant closes a bit earlier than that
Not that I saw, only indoors
Everything must be paid with a credit card. They do not accept cash during covid
You have to schedule and pay a fee to rent out the garden for events, they have wedding packages. This information is available on PDFs provided in the following webpage: https://morikami.org/rental-inquiry-form/
Yes small everything is allowed except a small appetite for the restaurant there that has a wonderful selection of Chinese food , drinks, candy ,and much more. Enjoy yourself.
The gardens are open (beautiful walk around the lake) but the museum is closed.
I do not believe it is possible
Yes they do.
Lantern Festival is held in mid-October every year. This year's Lantern Festival will be held on Saturday, October 17.
Closest stations are the Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach stations. Each are around 30 minutes away from the park.
There is a restaurant inside the park. Good food, good prices! Crispy Chicken is amazing!
Yes you can, I would suggest going online you will find everything you need. Also you and the class will never forget this field trip, prepare to see a small ancestral home as it would have been many years ago in Japan.
There is a Military Discount. It is the same rate as Seniors, $13.
I recommend the weekdays in the afternoon, 2-3 hrs before closing, if you plan on just visiting the garden. A bit earlier if you plan on stopping at the cafe. Temperature is usually great if its not raining, and it is less crowded.
As of today, they still do not have a tentative date for its reopening!
No, they do not.
I was there and its same time. Its ok but the beauty is the gardens.
Give them a call to double check. I was there about 2 weeks ago and I remember seeing a sign for a tea ceremony schedule, but can't recall the details.
Their website says they are closed on Mondays and major holidays. Suggest you call them to check.
I suggest you give them a call or email them for more information.
I think that if we actually ate before we went
Admission is $ 15
If you take the time to look at majority of the spots along the way - it was roughly 1 hr 30m. Can easily become 2 hrs or more if you take pictures, feed fish/turtles, eat at the food spot before/after.
Worth the admission price! Go check them out Martha!
Yes, until 5PM. They will be closed from March 16th to April 30th, however, at least their public programming will be.
There is also a large cafeteria
As I don't speak your language, I apologize for any mistakes. The entrance fee for adults is US $ 15, for seniors it is US $ 13 and for children between 6 and 17 years old it is US $ 9 and children under 5 are free. The address is 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach, Florida 33446. I hope this helps!
No reservation needed. Can just walk in. You also can get a yearly membership. They have a gift shop and cafe. Cafe closed at 3 pm. They are closed on Mondays. Hope this helps :)
Did you try their website? https://morikami.org/join/
The Lantern Festival is very popular. Tickets sell out quickly.
I haven't had classes at all
Its says on their map the gardens are wheelchair accessible and in accordance with ADA the Americans with disabilities act
You can't fish there, but you can feed them for $1.
Don't think you can bring food onto the grounds. But the cafe is really good! The food and service is amazing!
Cafe is great! but you still have to pay admission to get in as well.
You even bother going to their website? We will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2019 for Independence Day and will reopen to the public on Friday, July 5 at 10am.
They are not not open on Monday. Usually, they do something Sunday for Mother's Day.
65 yrs old and up. It is on the website under "hours and admissions".
They have reciprocity with the American Alliance of Museums and one other organization, but not specifically the Fairchilds.

The Morikami was open the day after Thanksgiving. It was a little bit more crowded than usual but was still very enjoyable given the perfect weather. I would definitely recommend a visit.
They also have other discounts I got one as an educator because I work for the school board check when you get there and see if there's anything else that might apply
There are a lot of different tiers that are all on the website. Here are a few: Student is $40. Individual is $60. Dual is $95.
Yes you can. Food there is expensive and you have to overcome a long line to get it... :-(
Depends on what you order, I spent about $30 bucks on my food/drink/desert/tip etc= it was sooo delicious!
No and Juan is correct about the trail mostly gravels
You only pay once for entry into the museum and Gardens. The only additional fees would be for any purchases in the cafe or museum shop or for the wands for the audio tour. ($3 each).
Hmmm I think there are spots that would work, but I definitely call the staff to confirm they could host an event like that
All this info is readily available on their website. No pets. Open Saturdays. $13 admission for seniors.
Not on the museum premises. But yes on the bordering forest.
You can also call for a group rate with a docent
It's open Tuesday through Sunday, but closed on Monday
We spent about two hours making a fairly leisurely loop. But it's the sort of place you can find new things over and over again.
