Quiet, calm waters. Excellent place to launch kayaks. Not much parking so early arrival or off season planning might be best. Also, your mother doesn't live there so clean up after yourself.

The bays are temporary closed for a few weeks due to construction. A 5 minute drive through the woods to get there but it looks nice! Cant wait till it opens back up!

Beautiful place to kayak or canoe. Eagles and osprey flying around. Nice access to the hudson river if you want to venture out there. Make sure you launch at high tide.
