Had a great day! Kids swam at the beach and then we caught 50 fish (bluegill, crappie, sunfish, and catfish)!

Such a lovely place! The lake is amazing and is cared for meticulously! There are so many little fingers and amazing places to picnic, fish, boat, hang out and even take your dog and it's all on the water. There are all kinds of little peninsulas and Islands.

Beautiful place to camp! We stayed 2 nights here at a primitive site & were very impressed. The bathrooms & showers are really nice for a campground. They have a beach, corn hole, horseshoes, playground & trails. The camp store has all the essentials including ice. We will be back!

This is one of the nicest state parks I have camped at. It is surrounded by water and channels. It is very clean and the restroom facilities are well kept. I have camped here several years for the local fall festivals nearby. It's definitely worth checking out.

Technically, no dogs are allowed on the beach according to the state park rules
Yes there is a play area with swings and slides by the swimming area. Theres also restrooms and a wash off area in the area.
Crappie and catfish, and yes some of the cleanest fish in the state.
Yes, very clean shower stalls for a state park.
I have several times, as long as you don't do anything stupid, or make a lot of noise. The officers are pretty cool
Obviously not at the state park itself. The max term there is 14 days. I'm guessing there are some places that offer permanent lot rental around the lake though.
$100 a night $600 for a week
Not very sure...but it is a very nice park
No, A vacation rental including a boat would be your only chance... It's a very shallow lake and lots of great bank fishing... but Kiser lake and Indian Lake (both about 30 minutes away) have all kinds of boat rentals. 🐟
Dusk, but no life guards
Three
I have found that when it rains some sites get muddy
Most are first come first serve but I think there is one that you can reserve but you would have to call first to double-checkyou may also need to call and see if they were open as well as some parks have them still closed
Only if you are camping.
Check with the park site on ODNR
Try this link. Lots of info. http://parks.ohiodnr.gov/lakeloramie I had a trailer up in lotus cove campground. It's a private campground on the non-state side for just short of 4yrs. It was a great getaway. Only reason I left was I got a newer bigger boat and the lake was not deep enough. So next year hopefully I'll be able to get a lot at a surrounded lake that supports the new boat so I can again enjoy weekends close to home but not at home. You know little weekend getaways to clear the mind of all the world's and my problems. Lol. Hope this helps.
It is very slow
It closes at dusk.
36/night
There are a few areas open to hunting.
Do Nature Center with nature programs offered during the summer months Bike, canoe, kayak and paddle boat rental is available Dog park
Some do according to the reserve America state park website- we reserved a full hook up (water, sewer & electric) site for a couple weeks from now. Most sites are electric only.
You will see the Spillway across from the entrance to the campgrounds. It's also very close to Morry's Landing (a restuarant across the road from the campground entrance). It used to be a bit more conspicuous, but it was recently reconstructed in a different style, so it looks like a footbridge until you get right up on it.
40 a night on the weekends, Ohio state park website will give a break down of time and such
Iam not for sure mayb 9:00pm just guessing call them they will b able too tell ya
Iam not for sure but i would call them ask iam sure they b able too tell ya.
I do not believe you can.
407 acres
Contact the State park police right outside of the entrance
Lots of farmers are emptying lagoons this time of year. That's what stinks
Not sure, but events and schedules are on line I believe.
