There was a terrible odor all weekend. Is this normal? Like sewage or hog farm.

Lots of farmers are emptying lagoons this time of year. That's what stinks

Jenny Jones | Jan 8, 2018

Yes that was probably the reason for the odor. This is also when they empty our the barns manure build up. Some still spread the bedding material on their fields.

Normally no odors at all. Most likely a farmer hauling manure.

Charles Shirk | Jan 8, 2018

There large farms and depending on the wind, you can smell them, but I dont recall them being really bad. But the farmer may have just cleaned them.

No problem weekend before, I would bet farmers.

No I go quite often I was even there last weekend (10/14,10/15) and no odor and it usually a nice place with no unpleasant odors. If you had a waterside Premium site I have also had dead fish get stuck shoreside but once they were moved the odor subsided. They did have two big packed weekends I wonder if they had septic trouble. It's usually a great place to camp. I would give it another chance for sure.

Not normal it is fall and a farmer probably had to haul manure.
