You would think the public defenders are supposed to represent you and fight for you just as much as a paid lawyer but they do not this has to change what happened to good people fighting for their client.

It literally takes a million years pluse a million years to get anyone of the public defenders to return any calls,voicemails or anything!! Half the time i dont even believe the front desk even sets up appointments and if they do the lawyers must not even receive the memo untill thenday you walk in for the appointment and even then you sit there for another million years waiting to be callled back!! This is sad but then again it is Fayetteville N.C so its no surprise to me at all but it is a shame that our town,city and even state allows others to represent and do the things they do and the way they do them without any concern at all!! I wish everyone with open active cases nothing but the best and hope everyone receives fair justice may God be with each and everyone of you!!

My car was towed and i lost my attourneys contact information. She refused to even SPEAK to me to give me the oppertunity to get her info again. Told me we couldnt have a 'conference' in the hallway and then pulled another person out into the hallway to discuss their case. But not before placing 2 more cases ahead of mine after i drove 12 hours through the night to get to court. Even the judge says they need to tell her so she can see us first. When i asked another attourney if she could please let the judge know one of her out of states was there and she almost slapped me in the face with her dreads when she over exaggerated her step back head turn. And then very RUDELY told me no and gave me a list of other options that i had ALREADY TRIED. These IGNORANT women are appointed for free by thw courts because they arent worth very much in their profession. Literally just fancy court lingo translaters.
