Excellent park for biking, family hikes and visit County Park is easy to get in by foot or bike!

You don't have to be a history buff to enjoy it here. There is a 30 minute movie that was very interesting and easy for kids to understand. The museum was smaller than expected but we still enjoyed it. Unfortunately there are no benches in the museum or lobby while waiting to get into the theater, so it could be hard on someone who needs to sit often. There are walking and driving trails to see the monuments. A great place to get exercise and learn at the same time.

Beautiful park with miles of paved and natural trails. History markers are informative and interesting. Four stars b/c painted bike signs on right side of paved trails are faded and many walkers walk on bike trail, which is very unsafe. The park needs to repaint the bike signs and add more along the way.

People walk their dogs their so I believe they were just taking a picture along their walk .
They do, I think, for National Parks.
The park store is not currently open because of covid-19 so I think the answer, for now, is no.
Thank you Jill but I live in Missouri. I have called the park numerous times with no answer. I also left a message and have not yet received a return call. Thanks again and have a nice day.
I checked some sources...total killed ...was172...79 American ... 93 British.....more were wounded...
On the trail at the park, there is a sign about the courthouse. No one knows for sure what happened to it. There is no written record of it's exact location.
I am not sure but I would call the visitor center.
I saw no boat ramps, piers or docks in the park.
There is a bathroom near the Lawndale road side of the park, but that is the only one besides the visitor center.
I believe you have to register a vehicle. Unless you can find one at a fleamarket.
I don't know we better ask General's George Washington and Nathaniel Green. BTW the old courthouse is long gone.
Don't know we better ask General's George Washington and Nathaniel Green eh
I wanted to purchase it as a gift. Can I do that without the individual being there and what is the cost of a lifetime pass for a 57 year old?
