The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a nice continental. However there were many issues with the room. Upon entering, a smell hit you in face instantly. It smelled horribly musty. I imagine it's from no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There were multiple light bulbs that were out and needed to be replaced. The tub drain no longer worked and was being propped up by a piece of wood that did not stay in place while showering so water just collected in the tub. And the icing on the cake was the baby cockroach that ran across the table the morning we were leaving. Definitely a serious lack of maintenance. We stayed here for the pool for ours kids while breaking up our drive on vacation but we honestly would never stay here again. We paid way less for a different hotel in Fredericksburg on the way to North Carolina and it was FAR superior to this one.

Positive: Very clean room ,good breakfast with waffles, cereal, yogurt etc. Staff at front desk during check in was good. Great location off I-95, with a Target store near by and shops and food. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Negative: Pillow were a bit on the small side, no big deal.

Positive: Excellent front desk staff and management - very responsive and cordial. Well-kept facility with great location. Best quality:value ratio for any hotel we've stayed at in Fredericksburg. Negative: No real complaints, just a couple wishes. First that another protein or two be added to the breakfast (sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, etc) as it currently is carb-heavy. Second is that televisions add a Netflix option for guests who have accounts.

Positive: Wish we could have stayed longer. Cozy atmosphere, loved the lobby with the fireplace. Friendly staff. Clean, fresh air in the room. Bed and bath were clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was amply stocked, great coffee. Negative: Everything was perfect.
