My friend and I came down for a wedding. We arrived and everything was fine , until we saw a bug in our bed. We asked the front desk to change our sheets and all they did was leave a pile of sheets on our bed. Iβm sorry but I paid $400 for this hotel room . I should have to make my own bed too . π‘

I had a nice stay. I really enjoyed the App for check in, electronic key, and checkout among other things. The bed was super comfy. I only stayed one night but I am looking forward to many stays in the future.

I should have read the reviews before booking. This place definitely needs some work & maintenance. Itβs a Hilton Garden Inn & I figured it would be kept up. But it looks like people drag luggage against the walls intentionally π€£ The microwave seemed to be from the 70βs. You need hulk strength to quickly pull the folding closet door open & I slammed my hand trying to close it cause it needs some WD40. The chair was broken. It had a motel 6 vibe. During busy check in time they were mopping the main floor from the lobby to the elevators, so counter productive because people were making dirty footprints & my kids nearly slipped & feel. The comforters are all dingy & fuzzy. They only give you the sheet & that comforter no light blanket between layers. I know the hotel canβt control this, but it was gross. At 10pm we got a heavy smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom, so someone was too lazy to go outside for a smoke & we got to smell it. The breakfast was horribly done. There were 2 people working the hot area, they couldnβt keep up with the volume & literally told us that & the cold stuff wasnβt stocked. Iβm so glad I bought my own bagels the day before so my kids could eat. The pool is sooooo small for a large hotel & the hot tub was taped off out of order. The positives: they have liquid coffee creamer & there was a nice maintenance man named James & the water pressure in the shower was awesome. For what they charge, I expected so much more. See pics- my favorite was the bottle cap my kid found & could have swallowed.

So came to VA for a fam trip and I always prefer Hilton over other hotel choices. The rooms were ok but not up-to par. The rooms smelled like marijuana and smoke. The 3.5 experience changed to 1 point due to the breakfast saga. My family and I came down at 8am for the breakfast we paid for. It starts at 7am. It was barely fully setup and when we went up to order our omelettes and pancakes π₯ the 1 hr experience from then on prompted me to write this review. The kitchen was understaffed. They had one girl handle the cooking, filling and check out. The one staff member she did was a new start and needed training. When we made our order she absolutely lost it because she was overwhelmed and told us she canβt make all that maybe she can make one order of omelette and pancakes. Then realized that we were not OK with tone she expressed that and agreed to make the food. Short while later other guests approached asking for their food and she had a really rude tone and had a fit with a guest who told her to relax. After waiting an hour i decided help by asking if i can see what i can cross off the order. She at that point decided to say shes not making the omelettes any longer and we waited for service for no reason. Hilton should really vet or staff the right amount of people so it doesnt affect their brand.

Yeah I'd go with calling the front desk and ask and make sure
Breakfast buffet and menu. Not sure about seafood.
It's close but "directly off" might over state it
Not sure I got mine on discount as an employee
