This hotel is very dated. There is a lot of wear and tear around throughout the room. The room has a musty smell, but it’s not awful. You can hear people outside and in other rooms. The door and window edges allow in a lot of light as well, so be mindful of this if you like darkness in the morning. The room, while dated and far from spotless, appeared basically clean. The biggest problem is the noise. The hotel is near the road, and there was a lot of motorcycle and semi-truck noise late (until midnight) and early (at 5 am). Another night, other guests were loud until around 1030pm and early (around 630). The breakfast is a waffle maker, two cereal options, coffee, and orange juice. The hotel is near restaurants and gas stations, but I cannot recommend due to the noise level. I am giving two stars as the room was basically clean, which brings it to two stars.

I called ahead to make sure it was a pet friendly hotel and was told it was. Checked in paid the extra pet fee all with no issue. I travel alone with my dog who is not only a companion but is a service dog who helps remind when I need medication. When I went to check out in the morning Steven was rude and inhospitable. As soon as I walked into the lobby he asked me to leave. I explained I was just checking out and was alone with the dog. He didn't care and told me to leave. I told him I checked in the night before with the dog in the lobby he didn't care. I mentioned he was a service dog and even though I don't have to I tried to tell him his function and he shut me down before I could even say I had documentation because he does not wear a vest. I asked for the manager he refused to even say who it was let alone get them. He also threatened to call the police if I didn't leave despite the fact I was just checking out of a room I paid for and paid extra for a pet. Long story short after more rudeness I was able to check out because I asked a stranger outside to watch my dog, who was very upset about that. I intend to follow up with corporate and the BBB. I would recommend looking for Hilton Tru for your stay. They are pet friendly and kind.

Positive: The staff was friendly and helpful. The temperature was good and it was quiet. Negative: It was old. The bed was sunk in and the chair had a huge "water" spot on the cushion. Bathroom was tiny. The outside wasn't very lit up so a little creepy while walking to our room. Some of the outlets didn't work. One of the outlets wouldn't hold a plug.

Positive: Remodeling was very nice The visit was for family member 90th birthday celebration at Firebird Restr. The staff members were excellent young and extremely polite and respectful. Coming back for a business Promotion Show at the Mall. March 26th & 27th. Negative: Honestly the only one thing was a turn was the tub mat black dirt around the edge of the tub mat. The tub was clean however the tub mat around the edge. I had my air purifier protection in the room they may want to see a demo Al Lewis 443-857-3860 cell
