Tire park was pretty great, the kids loved it, and a nearby camp site that we plan to check out this fall. Be aware the park is not free access. Plan ahead.

Good Afternoon, An alcohol permit is required to have alcohol. An alcohol permit can only be obtained for shelters that have a capacity larger than 50. Reservations for shelters can be made online by visiting http://parkreservations.maryland.gov or by calling 1.888.432.2267.
You do not need a reservation to enter the park. Entrance fees are paid upon arrival. If you wish to make a reservation for a shelter, you may visit parkreservations.maryland.gov or by calling 1.888.432.2267.
The dump station is available from April through October, 9am to sunset. The cost is $5.00. The dump station is located at the Hollofield entrance. The address is 8020 Baltimore National Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043. If your RV or trailer is taller than 11'1", you will need to enter through the Route 40 east entrance.
Yes, there is in out Hollofield area campground. It is five dollars and available from April through October. If you have any additional questions, please call our office.
All of the cabins also now have window AC units.
