I've been to about 3 different vets in the Baltimore area before finding this vet because I felt that none of the others treated myself or my pet in a way that made me want to go back. I LOVE this vet office for my two cats and one small dog. Dr. Pound is so amazing and knowledgeable and doesn't shame my pets or me for not keeping up with certain habits. All of the vet assistants are kind and helpful and so gentle with my pets. They are very COVID conscience and do whatever they can to ensure the safety of their staff, pets, and pet parents. They offer military and multiple pet discounts if you bring them in during one appt. I have been recommending this vet to all my friends/coworkers/neighbors because I love them so much. I adopted a larger breed dog from a rescue and unfortunately she came to me with some hip pain and issues. The rescue was easy to work with and they suggested physical or water therapy. I brought my dog in for an evaluation. Dr. King was wonderful and she created a treatment plan for my dog. I was optimistic that with Dr.King's treatment regime and water therapy my dog could potentially avoid a surgical procedure. I am happy to report that we are about 4-5 weeks into the regime and my dog is doing wonderful. I am very happy with her progress so far.

We have been bringing our dog here for over 11 years and have always been happy with them. Each vet we have dealt with gives fantastic service and legitimately cares about their patients. And their boarding service is fantastic! Whenever we go out of town, we know our dog is in good hands

I took my dog in for his annual check up on June 22nd. I found a lump and the vet took a needle sample to examine herself that day (not send out). She was also to give me an estimate for some surgery. It is now August and despite four phone calls to the office I have had no response from a vet on whether the lump was benign and no estimate for the surgery. The only response I have received was a couple of days ago after I left a message (a week ago) that I needed to talk to whoever the "lead" vet was. Instead I got a message from an office manager. At this point, I would never go back there. I didn't need to talk to an office manager, I needed a vet. Basically, I've been ignored for almost two months. I don't care whether the staff failed or the vets failed, bottom line is they all failed. I have been a patron of Paradise for 30 years. When it was Cheryl Burke's clinic, it was a great practice, now it's just a practice. Where, I'd note, you don't even get to have your own vet.

They don't adopt dogs from this location but occasionally have posters regarding pets that need a new home, with ways to contact their current owners.
