I'm very grateful for all that they did. Very friendly staff and made sure to keep us updated on the treatment and care of my cat. They made sure I understood the after care my pet needed. The place was easy to get to and clean. Would recommend them to anyone with a pet.

Although they were understaffed and it took longer than expected to be seen, the staff was friendly and I didn't feel rushed.

Excellent, hardworking staff. Remember - and this is true of EVERY emergency vet - wait time means more critical patients are being tended to, and that's good!

I waited a few days to write this review to hopefully gain some perspective but I’m still really bothered by our experience. On early Sunday morning about 130/200 AM, Our dog was extremely unsettled and itchy due to an ear infection (smells REALLY bad and is very goopy). While we know this isn’t a an extreme emergency it was causing incredible discomfort where we didn’t think our dog could wait until his scheduled appointment at his regular vet a few days later. So we got up drove to Catonsville, hoping he would be seen relatively quickly and we could get some antibiotics and go home. We got there and there were three cars in the parking lot, the waiting room was dead empty but the door was locked. we rang the doorbell no answer. We rang the doorbell again no answer. We rang the doorbell a third time and a technician came out, opened the door just wide enough to stick her head out and just stared at us and didn’t say anything. We explained the situation about how we just needed some antibiotics and we would be on our way. She closed the door left us standing outside. a few minutes later another tech came out and opened the door. This tech invited us into the waiting room upon hearing what we had to say about the ear infection only to tell us that they were at capacity. We tried to question what that meant and explained that we just needed to have our dogs ear examined and that it could even be done in the waiting room and we just kept hearing that they were at capacity. The only option we were given is to call back at 6:30 in the morning and be put on the queue which would start at 8 AM with no indication that we would actually be seen at 8 AM. We were given a list of other pet ERs to go to (the closest one was a 20 minute drive after that it was over 30 minutes). We still aren’t sure what they meant by at capacity as our dog didn’t need to stay overnight and there was literally nobody in the entire building except some random woman who kept peering through a door window on the other side of the room. it would have been helpful if they explained what “at capacity” meant. I’m just so bothered at this experience that I would hate to know what would have happened if we were having a life or death emergency. again I understand that an ear infection isn’t an emergency but we were out of ideas and options for how to settle our dog down so we decided to try this route. I hope we never have to visit here again, I don’t think I would come to this one unless I absolutely had to.

Take pup to the vet. The emergency clinic in Catonsville is amazing - they saved my cat this Halloween. And they had about a half dozen dogs come in who had eaten chocolate while I was there with my Moe.

I would call the Clinic and see if they think it is necessary to bring him in. When you go to the Clinic, you will have to call the number on the door and stay outside. Best of luck to you and your guinea pig!!

Take her it's better to be safe than sorry it's cheaper trip take your pet to the emergency vet than to replace them. They're really reasonable on the pricing for visits. I've had my dogs there several times.
